It’s been discussed at length but the dev’s continue to act as if it’s just fine. PLEASE stop spawning us into games that are well underway!!
I tried to play pacific today and literally each game I spawned into was not only imbalanced but the first point was lost already.
It is NOT reasonable. It is not fun. I will abandon that hot mess every time and if I end up being a negative Marshal or banned then I’ll uninstall the game.
Instead of enjoying a few hours of gaming today and working on the event I’m too annoyed to play at all. I’d rather do almost anything.
You should find some decent players and group up to play mericans on pacific, it’s completely dead faction currently. That’s why game puts you into middle of fight, to replace bots for real players… But you will just end up playing games like 2 vs 7 real guys anyway.
Hopefully merging will do something about it.
Btw. This is more playerbase related problem than anything else. There’s not enough players to choose from, matchmaking can’t do a shtt.
I think the solution for people who don’t like certain games maps OR modes is to allow us to choose which maps & which modes we want to play on. Unfortunately, the game seems to be heading in the other direction: Taking that option completely away and forcing us to play wherever the game decides to send us when the new update comes out. I think this is a big mistake, as do many others. Unfortunately, the developers seem to be listening to only a few select players or groups regarding this issue. I think the new matchmaking update should be optional, and the option to choose game modes & maps for each campaign should be added. People will naturally accumulate on the maps and modes that they enjoy and where other people are already playing. Or, begin in a brand new game.
I understand the situation but here’s what should be done - offer to let me join a horrible, hopeless match in progress or wait! I’d wait 7 minutes to join a fresh match.
In fact, if the mode you got is not to your liking, if you join a match where the first point is already gone, or you get steamrolled, I even RECOMMEND desertion.
Because remember: you don’t owe anyone anything. It’s YOUR time. YOUR fun, and you can do with it what you see fit. No reason to endure something unpleasant: it would have the opposite effect of why you play a game in the first place.
I understand how you felt, too. Earlier today, I played a match with Japan. We had a stack of two lil turds tryhards who did nothing, but spam 9x3 white phosphorus, and flamethrowers squads, the entire match in rotation. Cancerous turds even wrote “ez” after this unfun match ended It was so bad, during the match another random teammate said it was straight up bullying, there was no fun here at all… And I had to agree.
Next MM “à la war thunder” will sadly not solve this. So in this situation: desert. There’s no point in playing with, or against cancerous turds. It’s just not fun.
To the devs: limit white phosphorus spam already, for the love of God!
I kind of disagree here, the upcoming MM will match “equal” as possible ppl against each other.
And what comes to deserting games that are lost / shitty mode / map or what ever reason, with that I agree fully and recommend deserting entirely.
What comes to WP / Flamethrowers thats separate issue which will be solved with this pace around 2042 which imo is definitely reasonable time. Just in time for “full release”

Br MM won’t help. There will still be turds like I mentioned. Veterans will STILL destroy newcomers (heck, I myself will, just because I prefer bolties). Ppl will still dislike specific maps, or modes. There will still be favourite factions, and underdog ones, ESPECIALLY with equipment br.
And, ppl will still complain just as much, because they always do, and still desert…
The only thing that will change is that equipment brought by everyone should be in similar brackets, which will greatly limit what you’ll see on the battlefield.
I’m eager for the campaign merge, thought. I’ll main USA then, as all my favourite toys will be combined in the same place
Well it will match turds against turds and I still consider the WP spam for example as entirely different problem not concerning MM.
After all it is supposed to balance players by equipment and hopefully eventually with elo / what ever points to make games even more balanced.
Its not supposed to fix broken mechanics such as WP / flamethrowers which I consider as entirely separate problem.

As well true, but currently just as example, berlin / normandy as axis are somewhat populated and moscow as axis is botfest.
So upcoming MM will “loan” berlin / normandy axis to moscow maps.
This is exactly what most likely will happen. Regardless it has its own issues as well aka how to balance soviets and not make them as moscow steamrollers across the campaigns.
But as this new BR system will allow different weapons from different campaigns being used across them for example the pps42 could be one of the starter smg’s for sovjets across campaigns which imo is more balanced than current ppd40 vs mp38/40.
Either way, I see the new MM as by far better option than what we currently have, regardless it has obvious flaws and definitely wont be perfect.

Which brings another issue: since everything will be slapped with a br, players won’t be able to compensate their factions weaknesses with different equipment (or risk switching brackets). The problem is… DEVS will decide what br everything is.

Yeah dont get me wrong, its definitely not a bad weapon pps42 but id consider it inferior to PPD40 which currently is the counter for by far superior mp38/40 that cant tactically waste bullets with high rof & mag capacity.
Sure it will take quite some time before before the BR are somewhat reasonable and sure highlights the current issue of OP beretta 20mag vs ppsh.
So they definitely cant just copypaste levels to next BR system.
As above said Beretta is more tactical due to lower rof & smaller mag capacity. I consider it as so OP counter to PPSh that I never used it in moscow but continued with Mp35
Since Pz3 is literally shit in comparison id say it would be more fair throw Pz3 with 50mm against BT7 / T26 as both are capable to defeat Pz3 as well as Pz3 has fighting chance against them.
Just as one example what this BR system does allow to be done.
pz4 F2 ?! Would be decent counter to T-50
And here Pz4J could be the counter for early t-34 in moscow
And perhaps Leopard 2a7 could in theory to compete against t34-85. Tbh not sure what would perform somewhat equally against that stalinium tank, definitely not the pz4J
But yeah, to summarise the upcoming BR ( If done with some common sense ) allows more balanced games than what we currently have aka F2 in moscow againts T-50 etc etc etc.
