I think they should add winter and continuation war because they could have very unique weapons and battles because almost like 95% of the battles we’re fought in the woods and there weren’t almost any trenches and the uniforms are very unique and cool and the finns would have weapons like: Suomi Kp31 finnish submachine gun, Lahti-Saloranta machine gun, and highly used in ww1 maxim machne gun that finns used in ww2, mosin-nagant 1933 rifle, dp-27 that both sides used. The tanks that finns used in mostly continuation war we’re: T34’s, Kv-1, T-26’s, T-28’s and in continuation war Stug 3. I would love thi campaign, let me know what you think.
Good idea, I would also like to see some early war campaigns, without many broken weapons, but it’s just not the right time for it at all. This game really need a ton of bug fixes, a ton of polish for the current campaigns, and a ton of improvements overall. I don’t think anyone wants another rushed, unfinished campaign like Tunis.

Basically The Battle of Moscow but both sides use the same weapons with some unique ones here and there.
A hard pass from me.
Winter war would definitely be the best choice between those two. A proper early war campaign.

how about spanish civil war as a shorter very early war campaign
(from what i read) it was mostly allies vs axis(ussr, france… vs germany, italy…) gear
If I can control Finnish soldiers on skis, I’m up for it.

I think it would be fun, especially since I main Soviets so bring it on :). Plus the Finns deserve some recognition, they were and still are great warriors!
A few things make me think this is a very real possibility;
- People have been asking for this for over a year
- War thunder just dropped a Finnish (sub) tech tree which also falls under the Gaijin umbrella, giving the Enlisted devs access to some of the unique tier 1-2 Finnish and Red army stuff they may not have introduced yet in Moscow.
- A couple of premium squads have featured Finnish small arms already (German Stalingrad assaulters kick butt!)
- The devs just dropped another campaign featuring the Western allies against a new axis faction, so going back to Eastern Europe for a Soviet campaign kinda makes sense.
- Also, like it is said on this thread, there are more Finnish things in the files that aren’t implemented yet
I hope both sides get ski troops!
