Constant crashing issue still not fixed

It started getting funny when a playable-or-not issue survived this long. Switching between DX 11/12, updating drivers, reinstalling the game, etc. All tried, none worked. Had to watch my ranking points drop until removing points penalty does not apply to my current rank simply because crashing prevents me from completing even a winning match. And the current event includes tasks of completing battles, wonderful.
FIX. YOUR. :heart::heart::heart::heart: GAME. NOW.

cause of crashing is probably on your end or tied to your specific configuration (it is not widely reported problem from what i have seen). it could be either software or hardware conflict. i would try installing game on fresh windows install.

Have you tried report the bug or contact support?

Not widely reported, but still affected some of the players.

It was not a software or hardware conflict, but it was caused by the update itself.

that bug was fixed IIRC.

btw most bugs (crashes) are some sort of software or hardware conflicts that affect only specific computers cause it runs fine on majority of configurations. that is why installing on clean windows can give you a hint if there is problem with your software or hardware.

No need to installing on a clean windows. It can be fixed in a simpler way.

idk if i would call simple way waiting for x months till someone fixes limited bug that could be fixed in basically an hour of your time (just create installation on another disk)…

I was among the majority when the game ran perfectly on my computer before the update but I wouldn’t question or deny others about the issues they actually face. No configuration changes were done, only the update was applied and crash began to happen. One doesn’t have to be good at reasoning to tell where the problem lies.

i am certain that their changes to the game brought crash to you. it is just issue if you want to try to fix it yourself if possible, or if you want to wait till they fix it (and this can take months or years).

I get your point now.

Guess they’ve disappointed you real badly lol.

I’ll try what you said if my report on the issue still gets no update when the week ends. What should I do exactly? Reinstalling Windows? I don’t have an empty disk atm.

ideally it would be good to try it on another partition so you can have your old windows with all the settings and programs in case that the game in new windows install doesnt work.

you can check how to create new partition with one disk on link below (if you have space on it).
just shrink disk (i would recommend 40-50 GB just to have extra space), then create new partition with that space.

before you try windows reinstall did you do clean gpu driver reinstall? cause sometimes just updating can break the drivers for some game. download display driver uninstaller and then do fresh gpu driver install.

Thanks for your information. I wish it will work when I finally lose hope in gaijin and decide to fix it myself. They make games for a living, fixing bugs is their responsibilities after all.

Yes I tried that before but no luck. That’s why I’m reluctant to possible fixes on my end. Thanks again though.

did you report exact bug on?
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/enlisted

cause they may not know it actually exists if it isnt reported.

Just to be sure. Does this mean you don’t have any mods in the game?

Because a few weeks ago, a lot of people were experiencing quite frequent crashes due to unupdated mods.

Yes, I came here because their last reply to my report was 9 days ago. I guess I’ll have to wait.

0 mod downloaded. Fix for that time didn’t apply to my situation. I’ll wait and see.

I hope your issue is going to be fixed soon, it has to be so frustrating… Gl

I’m still getting sporadic crashes too.

It’s clear to me that the game engine, or the way it talks to the DX API is falling over.

Sometimes it’s a hang then CTD, other times, and more often than not, it’s a complete system hang, requiring a hard reboot.

I’ve tried pretty much everything, with the exception of reinstalling WIndows, because it isn’t Windows at fault. Every other game I play works fine.

I hope they figure out what’s causing the issue. It’s getting frustrating to have a complete system hang when winning a match.

you would be surprised about amount of issues that the windows are responsible for. having clean install is a way to check if windows or any current or uninstalled software is responsible for crashes. it wouldnt be the first time i solved critical bugs with it.
