If it’s just as good, why wouldn’t you? You’re saying controllers are just as good as K&M, so why not use it? Doesn’t matter if it’s on PC or not, it works the exact same way as on console
Using a controller as opposed to K&M doesn’t effect your communication

Because i have a 60 inch TV that plays in 4k resolution, and I prefer learning back in my chair and relaxing while I play the game.
It’s a matter of comfort.
And also not interested in spending money for a gaming PC, when I can have both a next-gen console and TV for half the price.

I was simply making argument that Cross-play should not be disabled for PC users, based on their argument that “console players are trash”.

You`ve been playing games for so long that you don´t even realise you´re a tryhard, thanks for the info. If you look at the average console player who wasn´t playing shooters for nearly as long, you´re gonna get a drastically differerent result. Double so for a F2P game, the average skill level goes down to basemeant level across all platforms.

Then the point everyone was actually making compleately flew over your head. If there´s a controller icon is next to someone´s name then they most likely won´t pull their weight as much as much as a PC player could. Nobody ever made the point that you can´t be good with a controller. If you play shooters for decades then of course you will be good at them, that´s like 1+1=2.
There will always be bad players across all platforms , the whole F2P thing as mentioned, but if everyone sees those controller icons they will know that they can´t expect too much from them.
P.S. I actually looked at your gameplay and it´s so unimpressive it´s not even funny. Like that´s what you use to back up running your mouth? Killing clueless bots, relying on the enemys´ lack of counter sniping or just eyes for that matter, shooting at a plane while missing all of your shots until it´s 2 seconds before suicide bombing and thinking you´re the reason it crashed=lmao, oh and more AI farming of course
In my console days my aim was way more smooth and snappy than yours. For fucks sake you play like me when I haven´t touched a controller in a month. You play like the average console player should but frankly doesn´t. You are the minority, your opinion was never even a factor since you´re not even a PC player to begin with. If console players are so great then why do you care anyway? I would suggest you humble yourself and accept the facts already.

i can tell you that beaver does well with a potato PC, but i know someone who could be good at this game when on a chrome book

Take every advantage you can get. The best way for the noobs to learn, is by playing against people who have higher skillsets. It’s all about perspective and attitude.
Whenever I lose a game against a good team, I only wish we could rematch and switch sides (offense/defense). And then play a best-of-three.
Funny as I thought most major FPS tournaments are played with PC with M/K combo.
Doesnt exactly make sense much, I dont really believe a farmer with 40yr experience in tractor cabin could compete very well in F1 car.

It’s not uncommon for people who live in agricultural communities, to have a high interest in automechanics and race cars. Where they build their own cars, and take them to the strip to race against their buddies from the community.
So, you can have a farmer who only drives tractors,
you can have an F1 driver who only drives race cars,
and you can have a farmer who drives both tractors, and races on the weekends.
I never said they weren’t. Nor did I ever say M & K are bad…
My argument is that console players can compete against PC players in this game, and that cross-play should not be implemented for PC users, in the context of their argument that “console players are trash”.
If PC players got what they asked for, then the competent console players/paying customers would be stranded with an even emptier player-base than we already have. I’m not interested in farming bots, when I’m seeking a challenge from my Xbox controller.
If people want to play with a M&K, more power to them.
