I mean in its entirety. In any game. its not how it was in battlefield 1942. I think the issues is not having enough distance to require transport and cap time being 3seconds.
In enlisted, when queueing and conquest appears it’s like oh, so nothing matters mode. C&C call of duty mode. You’ve gotta hold a bathroom and garden shed that will just be taken back in 8 seconds. It’s not true to its word anymore. In enlisted, it’s also the mode where nothing exciting happens. One plane, one tank, about 10seconds of gunfire before 20seconds of silence, a grenade goes off. Like, do you feel and see what I do? It’s just eeeeh mode. Almost like a lobby while we wait for real objectives.
Let us take a whole town. The issue is needing more space. These guys in WW2 took whole towns and coast lines. Not some food hut… make it make sense again. Confrontation is way better and makes more sense.
I find that I avoid all the bad maps, all the modes I despise and all the idiot team mates who don’t capture, don’t defend, don’t build rally points if I just create my own custom two man match. Yeah, I also avoid the earned experience and silver to some extent, but at this point in my Enlisted life, I don’t need either. It’s a good place for me to practice with squads I wouldn’t normally play with, and with my rifle shooting. Plus, I keep a ton of boosters in the bank for the “if and when” an actual “decent” event unfolds.
The developers: Let’s say we’ll solve it with a tool that lets you choose modes, but let’s do the opposite and release an incomplete tool with limited like, and screw them.
