Why not give winning teams in confrontation more points, experience ect. if they win the game by taking every cap point, as opposed to just outlasting the enemy? To be honest, I don’t know if there is any difference how your scored, but I have lost to many by team mates not trying to take every point, and eventually we lose a close game because we run out of dudes. That doesn’t happen if you take all the points.
I just played a confrontation game Germans vs allies where we had taken every cap point, but lost the final one on our first attempt. I had climbed into my Stuka because the third cap point was an outdoor railyard where I could actually kill people since it was outdoors and I didn’t have to deal with Dark Forces unpenetrable 20 feet of reinforced concrete roofs. We take the third cap point again easily. So, moving on to the final cap point, I see the enemy starting to take the final cap point, and looking down from my Stuka saw that not ONE of my team mates had crossed the river. I guess they were just content to let the enemy have it. I wasn’t, so I bailed out of my Stuka, even killing the pilot and stormed the last cap point myself. I found a couple dudes and about 8 or 10 bots there for the most part, dispatched with them and heard that our men are taking the control point (our men, bullshit, ME). So, I look out the window and again, NOT ONE team mate was crossing the river. So, I run to the back door and start killing dudes running towards the building with my MP 40 and when I was about out of ammo, my team mates FINALLY arrived to the party…Dumbasses … So, the only way I can see to motivate people to complete objectives is to reward them more for actually completing every objective rather then winning by outlasting the enemy. Just my old man opinion, for what it’s worth.
