Confrontation mode is broken?

Confrontation is a weird mode sometimes it never ends. EVEN AFTER 2 1/2 HOURS

i like when that happen,

its fun as hell when that type of batles happen.

even on a loss, they fun when they last alot

Its annoying when the fight is over two points and have to wait 3 minutes for the enemy to push the point your at

two and a half hours?! WTF?!

That’s insane. The longest match I’ve ever played was 50 minutes.

Some of the absoulte best and toughest battles I’ve played has been on confro.

With some tweaks this mode is gonna be golden.

Central cap should give more tickets etc.

My absolute best battle came on Armored train escort before they reworked it, long hard battle. Ended with 234 kills on a 45 minute match.

honestly, that game mode was a lot better before they changed it.

Oh, man. 100%. Sometimes “Make the battles short then throw the players into another” isn’t the best. I love the long, drawn out fights.

It depends. If both teams are camping and there’s not much action going on at the objective…yeah it’s boring and tedious. But when it’s constantly squads going in hard. CQB fast paced action. It could last the entire day and I’d be happy.

Is it because there’s a bug in the ticket counter? Or is it a tug-o-war match, where each team captures the objective and the tickets regained, simply never reach zero?

Most of the time my experience with it is that it just bounces back-and-forth between one or two objectives, and neither side can’t really progress because they don’t have time to get to it to really fight over it.

This being especially true for the Kaleafa, village map from Hell in Tunisia

When I see the matches, go really long part of the problem is that again they’re bouncing back-and-forth between an objective or two, and the problem is that as the objectives change hands, each side gets more troops, but the attrition isn’t enough to really wittle them down So the match goes on and on and on because the attrition rate is so slow, it just takes forever

I suppose that’s where you and I differ, then. As long as the action is hot and chaotic, we could fight all day over one objective and it would be fine with me.
Conversely, games that last 5-10 minutes because the ultra crappy matchmaking system placed unicum players vs first timers and casuals, even if it’s my team routing the other it’s not much fun for me.

This is still my longest match since a huge chunk of the matches finish within 30 minutes and rarely beyond it

Regarding Kahif, this map would’ve a bit better if they fix the pathing of the bots. Confrontation as a mode itself need more variety like have some maps with more cap points instead of the same 5 cap format all the time.

One big problem with Kahif is the distance between the objectives (200-300 m) .
Very often you’ll arrive to next point to late and the before you know it you will have to defend the objective you just fought and won again. And that’s super easy because the enemy struggles as much as you do.

Two evenly matched team will yo-yo between the objectives.
Not so pleasant.

My experience from this map(+ mode) is to win the battle inbetween objectives and put down a great rally that will not be destroyed by grey zone.
