Ahah! Yes you are right! Team B won the game because it perform worst, and was killed more often and also couldn’t get more objective than Team A. Good job team B!
My biggest personal issue with this game mode is how tedious it can be, often you’ll just go back-and-forth between two objectives because the attacking team does not have time to actually get to the objective in force before the other team can take it so there’s never really a fight over the objective they simply just take it before there can be a fight at least that’s true on Tunisia which is the campaign I play the most.
Yea a quite boring game, I start to save my squads to save tickets as soon as I understood it would last loooooong.
I spend 10min making the most of my radio squad.
At the end my radio squad dude die, because he put himself in front of a tank. He was behind sand bags, but standing up, 2m from a tank.
I crouch in hope the AI will do the same. But no. He didn’t move like an AFK guy.
Fuck the AI, fuck confrontation, I’m out for the day.
With extra artillery shell . it could have been a won. It was very close at the end.
There is one small adjustment they can make for Pacific at least to help with QoL and thats increase the time before the next zone unlocks.
Because of the Terrain and Distance , its a lot harder to setup and move forward before it unlocks to capture.
I’ve won two by bleeding them before then even got to the next objective.
Had the same experience last night but at least my team pulled a win. But we were at it so long and I said “what the fuck” out loud when we capped 1sr and had less reinforcements
so we are not discussing the fact that we evalue more our time on the forum rather than the actual game.
is it just me?
p.s.
regarding the confrontation thingy, idk, it never happens to me that despite my team doing alot of kills or actually controlling more territories, still lose.
I wonder if that’s because of their awful way of “balancing” factions by adjusting capture speed and respawn costs behind the scenes. The mode itself is also beyond terrible, it’s like people who designed it never saw an FPS game in their lives.
The more time passes the more I lose hope for this game’s future. For real, this forum is more entertaining. At least all interaction are with other humans and not nearly as many of these interactions are strictly unpleasant. I guess that’s why they only let you post here if you’ve played at least two matches in last week. Gotta push people back into the game somehow.
The caps are too far away, mainly in tunisia and pacific so attackers have to sprint to next objective to have a chance.
Then the fact that retaking point after losing middle one gives so much score back (and first attackers will 90% of the time have near 1000 score anyway so no bonus for them) means that first team to cap loses the game if they don’t cap last point, which is fucking stupid as this thread highlights.
As always, great maps have shit balance because the easiest job of placing cap points and balancing score is so lazy. When 1-2 people leave matches it’s ok, shit happens, but seeing 8-10 deserters mainly in one team on specific maps speaks how blind devs are to this bullshit
System I liked in another game was that objectives and spawns were tracked separately and didn’t affect eachother.
You could win either by holding objectives or by attrition (though attrition was much harder imo), except in tournaments where you had to win via objectives to prevent riding the meta too hard.
The “winning” team got disqualified in the finals because they only had 1 guy outside of a vehicle trying to cap and ended the game via kills.
For enlisted they could probably get the same result just by giving each team more spawns to start.
