The lock times for confrontation on MULTIPLE campaigns are way too short for the distance you need to cover to reach the next objective. By the time you get there, your squads are dead from all the bots on the other team and/or the enemy team has already repopulated the point and pushes you back before you can even have a chance to cap, resulting in an hour long tug of war spam fest between 2 objectives until your team runs out of lives and someone loses. The bots in my squad get all bundled up in certain spawn points in the holes map in tunisia, and armored train escorts spawn distance when attacking OR defending is way too far, bro gotta do the digital dash just to watch my team take the L from 180m away.

confrontation could be a superior game mode if done right, I’d say:
Enlarge cap points and make it so capture is done by kills, not by sitting on the spot. That would benefit:
- people who dont understand current victory conditions
- people who would rather keep distance from objective (based on troops they’re using)
- the whole gameplay becuse it wouldn’t be anymore that whoever is rushing the cap point wins

The cave village map on Tunisia would honestly benefit from just having the objectives be buildings that AREN’T in the holes. My buddies and I play a lot of Tunisia, this is by far the most hated map for that reason and the fact that the AI can’t pathfind hardly at all on it.
As far as the lock time, I agree, it needs to be lengthened. In addition, the next objective area back needs to be displayed for that team. This way, teams have a better chance of setting up fortifications that actually matter.
