I see entry level vehicles vs end game vehicles every single session I play this game

you are literally saying that I need to prove to you what I see and experience in the game everyday because you don’t believe it, and worse, you are telling me I see the opposite

ffs i am talking about global tier system, you are talking about campaign tier system. campaign are subset of global tier system. so on global scale you never see true t1 vehicles go against t10 vehicles.

pz.2C and pz.3 E are t1 vehicle. name me one campaign where it plays against is-2.
t-60 and BT-7 are t1 vehicles. name me one campaign where they play against KT.

widest range is on normandy where t2 vehicles go against t9 vehicles according to dev table.

berlin allies have t8-t10 tanks, axis have t7-t10 tanks
normandy allies have t2-t9 tanks, axis have t3-t9 tanks
tunisia allies have probably t1-t5 tanks, axis have probably t1-t5 tanks
moscow allies have t1-t5 tanks, axis have t1-t5 tanks
pacific allies have t1-t2 tanks, axis have t1-t3 tanks
stalingrad allies have t2-t6 tanks, axis have t2-t6 tanks

most campaigns have tight spread and that is why they are balanced. when you have shitshow like normandy with wide spread of tiers then you have balance problems.

I am talking about right now in the game, the low level vehicles and high level vehicles are commonly in the same match, do you agree or not?

are they going to be as commonly in the same match after the merge? Yes or No?

I doubt it, if you say it will be as common, we will see. It will be obvious after the merge what is really happening, but they wouldn’t bother doing all this if they didn’t intend on breaking it all up and making it less common

what balance problem you talking about now?

The balance problems in this game are largely due to the players on each team and nothing else

the guns, the vehicles and the gear is ok except for the squad compositions and certain squad spam

the other balance issue is because of the tiny objectives where everyone is squeezed into fighting over tiny closet areas

Regarding the argument of @robihr and the others arguing with, I’m willing to give the BR system the benefit of the doubt.

I think it can alleviate the problems in the game, and of course, there may have been better solutions, but it is what the devs decided to go with, for better or worse.
We will have to see how it works in practice.

After all, custom matches will remain to be a thing anyway, which is kind of… the main place where fun game-play can be found. As simple start button basically gives rather unpredictable and random matches.

we know how it works in practice we have played the other cajun brawler games

won’t be much different here, just a different brawler that is now getting gear tiered unnecessarily when the issues are else where

so they chose for worse

this isn’t even a solution to anything that’s the amazing part of this, it just brings new problems and the false perception of it helping anything

but the same issues will persist

you posted on your other thread the roflstomp on moscow maps, and everyone immediately points to the playerbase being unbalanced as the issue, which is correct there

however what those same players won’t mention is that in the populated playerbase campaigns that same thing happens, the exact same thing, I have played all campaigns and not a single campaign that doesn’t happen. And will continue to happen, because this BR update does not address anything to change that. So having more players on both sides won’t reduce that from happening (we already experience it in populated campaign), nor will changing the gear they have access to change it from happening

people arguing against this point will openly admit that it’s ok that stacked premade teams are going up against randoms creating uneven matches, but then spike their flag of balance virtual signal of gear based tiers as being the answer when they also admit that it won’t fix the real matchmaking issues

which as we all know isn’t whether noobs or vets are in the same match, or top end and bottom end gear in the same match, the issue is that if one team has more than the other

and limiting the spread of those tiers won’t stop the other imbalance problems such as one team having 2 pre made squads of 8 guys and the other team having only a 2 man premade squad for example

nor does it account for actual player skill, experience and ability

and even if you did balance properly with all that, people still going to leave matches they don’t like in search of easier farming matches because the core of this game for a lot of people becomes all about xp farming and killing as many bots as possible as efficiently as possible

so there are many different factors involved

maybe you are right, custom matches will be the last hope for this game if this is what the standard mode is going to become, but then the issue there is that it has low popularity and low population and despite having potentially the best gameplay potential, if the majority of players do not recognize it, then it’s just like a lot of old games that had great modes, great maps, but the brain dead masses only populated the worst ones and allowed the game to die

The only reference I got is the warthunder. I don’t know how it will work soon, or after initial bugfixes. I can at least assume.

I don’t think that unbalanced playerbase is the inherent issue, it’s more that there is little reason for the losing side to even try to salvage the situation. There will always be victories and defeats, but the important thing is, these victories and defeats shouldn’t be so clear 1-sided roflstomps. There has to be some kind of redeeming qualities for the losing side to stick there and try to do something, rather than just leave the match.
It was said, that choosing a random side would give exp bonus in future updates.
Heroes and Generals come to mind, but it’s been a while since I’ve played it…

I think BR would, at least in theory, account for player experience, as they’d need to unlock the equipment in one way or another. Granted, premium stuff exists, but they’re premiums, so a separate issue.

Maybe, we’ll have to see.
