Last night i was still seeing people bombing straight into the target and just want to remind everyone that the bombs/rockets you fire close to the ground before hitting it will kill the enemy but deprive you of the kills
you are wasting a plane.

Nothing new here. This has been known for weeks now.
Doesn’t stop people from suiciding. People are special as always.
It’s not about the kills, it’s about sending a message.
Suicide planes are the worst kind of players. Depriving them of kills can only be a good thing in the long term.
i will give them some credit. The reason i crash my plane most of the time is because the pop in distance of soldiers is too short.
this is likely the only way people can see the enemy
if a player suicides their plane it should take twice as many spawns to get it back
What message, that you can’t fly?
People that do that should have their plane respawn timer tripled.
People that do that should have their plane respawn timer tripled.
It doesn’t matter, because people who crash their planes don’t have any interest in flying in that match.
I will be playing as infantry having fun, when i die, i see there is a plane spot open, so i take it to shoot some rockets then crash it, then back to playing infantry as i’ve been doing before.
I don’t think not earning “Points” is an issue for a lot of people. They are doing this to maximize their impact on the match and minimize their flight time.
One way to address this issue is to give Players a Return to Base option with a benefit associated with it. Currently the only way out of a plane is to die and not everyone wants to continuously troll from the Air. So why not suicide it?
How does the game determine the difference between a suicide crash and a crash caused by incremental damage ?
I’ve often crashed my plane - got the kills himself message - due to incremental damage received by AA, random shots from MG or Tanks etc… Is there a timer ? Does the game engine acknowledge damage levels applied to the airframe ?
Some of the suicide planes are simply to clear an area of ground forces. Especially in Invasion it can maake quite a difference if you wipe half the enemy team at the cap preserving your own forces(tickets) while only wasting those ~30secs to get there as plane.
