Commonwealth tech tree

War thunder is prime example of why several unnecessary tech trees filled with copypasted content is not something that players are benefiting from.

It’s much better to do what WT did with Britain/sounth Africa or Sweeden/Finland.

That’s what’s beneficial to players. Seperate tech trees are just totally artificial restrictions. And there’s nothing you can benefit from.

because in warthunder a germamn tank can fight an italian tank, or a japanese tank
a us tank can fight a uk or ussr tank meaning adding faction does no add q’s and divide the player base.
yes uk and italty can fight alongside germany or us but the point of a separate uk tech tree would be to fight in battles that us was not involved thus uk only q’s thus creating separate qs and splitting the player base.
and yes copy paste like the american grant, stuart and shermans and thompsons at least only add ā€˜new’ items like the sherman firefly or use the lee a uk modified grant.

Eheh I’m a hardcore TeaBoo (Commonwealth main), and Canadian everyone here knows it. So to finally get my beloved IX, piloted in part by Canadians, let’s say I’m overjoyed…

But, I’m not a russian Soviet main ( commieboo ): I do not need unfair advantages to have fun and perform, there’s no way such a powerful plane should be br2  (it could work well in br4, no joke)

It’s probably the craziest BR offense I’ve seen to date, and it favours my preferred faction.

Enjoy it while it lasts  I just wish I could combine it with the Hurricane.

I feel bad for Axis. And Japan, poor Zero will get chased…

Well not exactly:

The Zero lets say its a little secret but it overperforming in this game in altitudes that should not be performing  Or if I say more correctly the cap of 5300 makes the Zero perform even in highest altitudes in game not as badly as in war thunder since there you can go much higher. And Japan has good AA in the TT but Germany will suffer the most from this Spitfire. Since in low altitude you can dog fight it in Zero and win just like against all other US planes so really not much changes for Japan in BR II in BR III its bigger problem since you cant dog fight it with Ki 100 that good. And if you gonna engage in vertical combat there is much better planes like the lighting that has two engines so for Zero players they will feel the least this plane impact however the Ki-100 well they will suffer against it.

5,3km?

Nobody ever fly that high (in Enlisted), I stay at 2km and most enemies just pass right under me without noticing (it’s also safe to pass over carriers while having a lil altitude buffer, you explode at 1,499km)

Don’t get me wrong, I love the Zero so much I use it even in br5 (well, the flame tank one). It’s seriously great.

But, it lack speed.

New Spit IX got both speed and maneuverability, in the hands of a decent pilot, I wonder what the enemies will be able to do

Like you said, I will shamelessly abuse the IX before they uptier it to br3 or 4, though, eheheh

Yeah but as Zero Player you don’t care that much will you fight a lighting or the new Spitfire is the same thing to you if it doesn’t engage in a dog fight or you don’t surprise him its game over.

The Zero is a noob plane its loved by the noobs and hated by the vets since its a plane that needs you enemy to make a mistake. Its the best plane to learn to be a pilot and the plane you don’t wanna play after you learn.

Gasp! Shame on you Emperor!

I still love it because it’s fun. Also one of the few planes who can counter the lead indicator handicap thanks to it’s high maneuverability: so easy to mislead enemy pilots with it, even if they spotted you and come charging face to face, a lil sway left, right, then bank and dive then get on your enemy’s 6 and savor his frustration eheheh.

But I just love being able to repair all the time with carriers.

Ki-100,Ki-61-Otsu Kai and Ki-84-Ko are the most fun planes to play with Japan the Zero is very boring plane. The moment you face a good pilot like Atari for an instance that is good P-51D-5 player you will realize what I’m talking about

With a Zero really there is nothing you can do against him. Even with Ki-100 you will realize the limists of this planes that’s why I hope one day they move Otsu Kai to BR III. And if you have the bad luck to be with Zero on New Georgia its really absolutely pointless.

Oh I’ve met aces with p51 before. Pilots who really knew how good the p51 is…

But, I’m now rather decent as well, eh.

Those dogfights are fun, but truly it’s the p51 that can’t do a thing against the Zero. Their only chances are either to get the jump on me from above if I didn’t find them yet, or zoom boom me… IF I fail to dodge, which is ridiculously easy in a Zero

Although… eh. It’s true I took down countless Zero pilots in my p51 as well. P51 can’t dogfight a Zero, but Zero cannot hope to catch up to it if it zoom.

But now with the Spitfire IX, woops! Won’t be as easy as before  plane has no flaws!!!

Well dont go in a dog fight against a Zero even with this plane you will lose it. P51 is better since its very fast and can catch you in energy traps you can never catch him if he sees you if you surprise him he is dead but if he see you its game over you will be zoomed 100%.

I hope one day Japan gets good BR II fighter plane like Ki-43-III Otsu or Ki-44-II Hei or even Ki-61-I Otsu for BR II.

But that’s kind of the point…the Commonwealth (Britain, Canada, India/Nepal, Australia, etc.) joined the war from the beginning and not years later. Yet the Allied TT mostly represents th US…even though MANY of the weapons were mainly used and built by the Commonwealth yet there is little to no representation unless you were lucky enough to be around for those event squads or buy Premium. For all of the player base who scream for historical accuracy, the ā€˜Allied’ TT is not even close.

While I agree that the Commonwealth needs proper representation and squads that actually align with the weapons you unlock (cough Enfields cough) completely splitting the factions in MM would hurt the game. They would still need to be in the same MM as Western allies and, depending on how it is potentially implemented, the Faction could allow squads from both TTs to be used at the same time if one wants to play with a mixed lineup.

yes we must represent uks many humiliating defeats in europe and africa including the great retreat of dunkrirk france, the retreat from naRVIK NORWAY, RETREAT FROM SOMALI LAND TO THE ITALIAnS,

people do not play enlisted for it’s ( non existant ) historically accuracy.

let alone campaigns with barely much from the opposition.

to which, the sole suggestion is yet again, make those pre merge squads available and let players decide whatever they want.

enlisted is rarely about representation anyway.

to be fair I was testing the plane with its 250lb bomb and you basically had to land the bomb right on high br tanks to destroy them if it lands next to them it doesn’t destroy it only damaging none vital parts of tanks and maybe causing orange damage to tracks so if they do move it past br3 I think it would need the 2nd bomb or upgrading it to a 500lb bomb

Then we should remove the commonwealth things from the americans, but we should let people keep them as legacy items.

and dont add american things to commonwealth like the sherman, stuart, thompson ect, grant,

Give love to Italy too :it:
