We already have a tempest which is a premium at BR5 and considered by many as the best fighter in the game. So I would suggest instead a Typhoon at BR3 or 4.
I love the Cromwell and I want it in the game but that thing should be BR3. It is more or less a british equivalent to the sherman (it has almost the same gun but with solid shot only so no APHE)
All in all I want more stuff for the commonwealth in the game.
I certainly wouldn’t oppose Canadians to be included in game, other than a few vehicles cosmetics.
But honestly, Commonwealth day would truly be an interesting event, as it includes MANY countries that fought togheter in ww2.
We’ve already seen our fair share of Soviets, united staters, some axis and a very few Japanese events. Commonwealth would be great, I think many here would like receiving some squads and/or vehicles of Commonwealth forces.
Well, I see. However, the Tempest Mk 2 is actually better than the mk 5 we have in game. The Mk2 has a Centaurus engine that is more powerful than the Napier Sabre. The Mk2 was supposed to be the basic version of the Tempest, but trouble with the engine made it that they had to use the same engine as the previous Typhoon and build the Mk5 instead.
How so ? Panzer IV G and J have 80mm of armor with a better gun at BR3. Cromwell armor is completly flat while M4A2 has 63mm of slopped armor on the front.
In war Thunder, Cromwell’s BR is 3.3 while M4A2 has 4.0 and Pz IV J has 3.7
I know that War thunder is not Enlisted but the Cromwell has nothing to do at BR4 in the game.
Because this Cromwell who isn’t in warthunder has 76mm of frontal armour on the turrets so I think this is BR4 material because Is more similar as counterpart of the German Pz4 H
I see, sorry I did not check the version of the cromwell you choose.
But in that case, I would definitly prefer the mk 5 from war thunder to be added instead. I want the cromwell to be in the game but I surely won’t be using it if it’s BR4.
Also, this is my opinion but … I don’t think one second that this panzer should stay at BR4
