Combine vehicle limits

There is currently a limit of 1 vehicle for the (free) player loadout.

This logic does not carry over into a match, where now there is a separate limit for tanks, attackers and fighters - which all fall into the vehicle category.

And after playing plenty of matches where one side has no tank or plane for extended periods of the match, I find it reasonable to combine the in-game limits into x/4 vehicles.

On lower BRs especially, vehicles are the main means of wiping out larger groups of infantry at a time. The side that doesn’t fill up their vehicle limit has proven to be at a disadvantage generally.

Merging vehicle limits increases the chance for players to choose a vehicle even when e.g. all players in your match have a tank in their loadout.

I think that the freedom of any vehicle composition occurring will help balance out these lopsided matches. Alternatively, changes to player loadout restrictions can help prevent them.

Yes, I agree that the state of the game’s balance makes this concept much harder to realize in a viable way. But I was hoping to separate the issues as it’s too much to link everything to balancing that also depends on it.

That is because the game is not designed around players staying completely F2P. It really doesn’t cost that much for one or two extra slots, and it certainly costs less than what you would be paying up front for a mainstream game.

A couple bucks into the game is worth it, and at the end of the day, they are a company just like anything else. A couple bucks for an extra slot or two is much better in my opinion than spending that exact same amount for a single movie ticket!

No. Because aircraft CAN be quite difficult to take down and if you had 4 aircraft in the sky simultaneously it would be an absolute mess.
Similarly, 4 tanks simultaneously would assure that infantry can’t even move 5 steps off of where they spawned.

Finally, something we can perhaps agree on. Exactly which restrictions are you thinking about?

There was a short time where the game had a limit of 2 attackers and 2 fighters, with how quickly it was rolled back, the same thing would happen if this suggestion was implemented

As stated it was previously implemented but rolledback due to how inbalanced it is.
Unless op has a different idea thread will automatically be closed be within 2 days as this idea was rejected previously.
