Collaboration

Speaking of the success from the modern event to spur on its own campaign. The possibility of a collaboration with games workshop to do a 40k themed event. Possibly taking place on armageddon with the guardsmen facing off against the orks. It would fit well with the play style of the game. Large squads constant death and plenty of room for expansive campaigns. Not to mention the potential to spread the game to a large community that has been looking a game to do the name 40k justice.

Trust me I would love a game like this in the 40k universe but that is a lot of money to license them in here on a studio that has this game still in beta.
WG has done one off events with them in WoWS but I’m not sure what kind of money or ad rights had to change hands to accomplish that.

In the grim darkness of the far futur there is only greed.

Even if people were interested, this kind of licence would be a very expensive joke.

They can do something simplier and cheaper like: every soldier is a soldier from 1800’s with musket and cool furry hats.

I totaly trust Gaijin to be the best (and the last) company to make good april fools joke in their games.

I’ve been dreaming of a 40k game set in an Enlisted or Battlefield type game.

Perhaps start with Guard versus Traitor Guard and there are also all the various cultists(Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, Slaanesh).

Dozens of Guard units and skins to choose from. Tons of 40k vehicles and the variants.

Plenty of units to choose from.

Stick to Guard v Traitor Guard, Cultists v Guard, Cultists v Cultists, Traitor Guard v Cultists and no Psyker units.

The cringe is real.

There are many factors for Enlisted not being compatible to this idea, it just wouldnt fit, no way at all.

Is it too soon to say M36 Lasgun is UP and needs a buff?

This is by far the best idea ever!

If I cannot play some Ultramarine that stomp everything and diss the imperial guard (or use them as meat shields, what they are in fact) then no deal! :stuck_out_tongue:

Filthy heretics…

A someone who loves the Death Boys of Krieg I would be more than happy to be your meat shield. :skull:

Thats like never gonna happen because the amount of money you need to invest blows expectations. Its always like that.

If all of Ganjin was behind it them might be able to license it (WG did after all and they are almost mirror in what they do). But beyond that who knows.
Maybe throw in a contract for ad rights for a few years.
Pipe dreams , for sure. But man would I ever love to play my trusty Imperial Guard.

I mean you compare a multimillion concern with a small-medium one.

Who knows what the deal would end up being but I’m more talking with the company resources behind it who knows whats possible.

Sega has made vast sums off of their deal with the Total War series, so if you get the right investments and have the correct resources, it can turn into a pretty penny.

This game has the framework at least to make that happen, or at least use it as a jumping off point.
