Closed beta ""testers"" need to rebuy why?

60$ pack for testing the last campaign ? like for testing everything’s if a calcule correctly first closed beta was 60$ + 60$ for battle of Berlin + 60$ for the last one.

it’s a collector AAA game with a physical copy + some goodies ? ha no THEN why ““beta testers”” guys need to pay that much for testing things ?

Because you beta tested the Moscow and Normandy Campaign.

NOT Berlin, beta testers don’t get access to everything under that title forever.
It would be like me saying I was a tester for Fallout 4 demanding free testing of all the DLC.

IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT

Ho it’s a DLC ? then why after the beta testing it’s become free ? that just show the greed of Gaijin that’s all

exept, campaigns are not dlcs.

and as we are Testers, it would be much usefull for us being able to test things and give more feedbacks than the current ones.

to be honest, it’s filled with unbalances and issues regarding berlin. but guess what, no one is actually making anything about it. because there are 3 kind of people. 1 first type, is waiting for the second phase not doing much. the second type does not even know that forum exist, and the third type does not play the game due to their spare time.

i understand that not everyone is willing or put " extra work " as someone said behind enlisted.

not to mention, half of the matches on berlin are against bots.

With there being a paywall it will be a far worse campaign due to less testing. There is no where near the same amount of vocal dedicated players because there simply is far less players. Maybe make it so we can buy only squad not a dumb bundle

It is, quite simply, Gaijin’s business practice. Whenever a consistent new branch of the game is released (here it’s campaigns, in War Thunder it’s new nations or new tech trees) it is initially available only for people buying a special bundle.

It’s called beta testing, but it’s de facto “pay for early access or wait a few months for the new stuff”.

It was an example… we paid to test the first the game in closed beta with the Moscow campaign.
That is what we paid for, why now, should we expect everything thus forth to be free?
How the hell will they make enough money to keep the project going if they gave people thousands of man hours of work ‘for free’ because we paid once…

But it is, it is extra content for a game that has already been released (albeit open beta) By definition that’s exactly what new campaigns will be…

That’s a separate issue, yes maybe they have gone around it the wrong way. Kept the play test free and then the campaign stage 2 to be pay to enter, I don’t know, I don’t have a business degree to comment on such practices. But it makes more sense to charge people for extra content and access then to give people unlimited access for a one off small payment

Would still rather it be this way round than to have to pay to access the final campaign. Which is the other route they could have taken.

according to this logic, we should have bought only the access for moscow and not normandy, and the other way around?

you are acting like you’re new and never touched this game before.

have you forgotten about every single microtransaction present in this game?.

have you forgotten all the CBT members? all the money made from premium squads?

so, doesn’t sounds like a solid argument to me to be honest.

i mean, it ain’t extra. considering that was announced and many people were waiting for it.

turns out that only a small percantage of that people actually bought the acess to.

which for the next reason ( that i’m also going to cover the second point of: )

it ain’t about mistakes.

but bad marrketing. now,

me neither. but working in a company that sells products, as a sectary, and i have somewhat of a good relationship with my boss and a bit of knowledge how the buisness work, i can say for sure that in this way, you are just pissing off your customers.

because, one thing that i see many times, and people always thinks " if i don’t get bad feedbacks, it means we are doing great ". that’s the main issue. just because the people don’t express their feedbacks, doesn’t mean everything is allright. quite the oposite. customers leave. and as a company, it’s something you would like to avoid.

speaking for enlisted, i’m not sure how healthy it can be just gift some random keys expecting to rise up the playerbase and hoping to get many feedbacks as needed.

the last point;

it’s not extra content. it should have been included for what has been promised.

which at the end of the day, we don’t have it. because it’s quite understandable. and like many people if could, would have helped to make better.
but,
i don’t think i have to spend more words than i already did/done.

and it ain’t a " small payment " at all.

quite frankly, it’s pretty much the same ammount of me going for shopping and buy food for my entire family of one month. not to mention, bills and car let alone.

but that’s what i think of course.

cheers.

exept you are paying 3 times than a normal AA for having actually less.

man, i like the game but i just can’t pay a beta test that normally being done by payed pro guys at a price that is 2 or 3 times the price of a normal game launch it’s normally a f2p with microtransactions not a money machines done by brainless fan-boys that can pay that and done 0 report to the devs

well, from what i reading you are not active at all.

before blaining the community at point black, i would seriously reconsider what has been typed and avoid needless unproductive and false discussions.

because otherwise you would have remembered all the " fights " and all the threads against it.

but we had to “”“accept”"" them because otherwise this title wouldn’t make much money.

although, they crossed that line with everything being microtransactioed,.

where balance is barely mentioned anywhere outside testers and newer people complaining about.

when the money whales can just tears apart the game experience for everyone.

and now, expect people to pay in order to test something.

just another flop.

luckely, numbers speak louders than threads :eyes:

If you don’t want to buy it, wait for the free test.

We buy it, not only for the ability to play it, but, for the limited time exclusive squads.

Mp40/I was more than enough reason for me to buy it. An exclusive weapon forever.

What are you on about with all these campaigns being extra content?? These are NOT extra content. This IS the game man. We are testing out the GAME as it’s being developed. We are not testing extra content or anything that would equate to a DLC. This game is not finished yet and is still in beta. And equating the future content as extra or as DLC is just dumb.

Why are you defending the practices of this company so hard like this?? This move to not give CBT testers or even the older testers access to testing for the new campaigns was just dumb and greedy. Plain and simple. They just want to milk every dollar they can out of us and it shows. Bc they’re making us pay for testing, among tons of other things in game that you can pay for. So they definitely aren’t worried about money here with all the people buying their crap.

So this isn’t an issue of them not making enough money. It’s just them being greedy. And when I personally bought testing access, I didn’t buy testing access for Moscow specifically. I bought testing access so that I could test the whole game and help the devs with that. But I’m not going to repeatedly pay Triple A prices for a game that will be F2P and that will be loaded with micro transactions. If I’m going to pay triple A prices, I’m going to buy a game that’s actually polished and complete. Not this game which still has a long way to go.

It was just dumb for them to make this move, plain and simple. Look at Berlin, that campaign is a mess. The testing phase is worse than what it was for Moscow. All bc they decided to be greedy and paywall it. All while people like you just defend their actions despite what it’ll mean for the future of the game.

It’s bizarre to pay them to test the game in the first place. I hope it’s a lesson learned for you. Don’t buy something if you don’t actually want it. Don’t assume you’re buying anything other than what’s specifically listed.

They’ve chosen a terrible approach to this entire thing. First and foremost it’s detrimental to their own game. However, as a player and a customer the only thing you can do is learn a lesson.

Don’t buy something if you don’t actually want it. Don’t assume you’re buying anything other than what’s specifically listed.

I mean it’s not that we don’t want the game or anything. It’s that we do and we want to help the game be the best it can be by testing it for the devs. Which is why we paid that cost in the first place. You got a point tho on not assuming what you’re buying unless it’s specifically listed.

The thing that’s bs tho is that the devs gave us free access to the Normandy campaign for testing for a period of time whenever people were testing it. Now they paywall the Berlin testing with an even higher amount than ever. Just seems like a really slimey move imo but it’s definitely a lesson learned on my part. Not giving another cent to this game or the devs.

Nobody is forcing you to pay for anything, just move on with it.

Campaigns are intended to be different games, packaged into the one title of Enlisted.

no, you seems not getting it.

the four campaigns as a whole, are part of the game, not dlcs.

the four announced campaings.

dlcs in this game, are premium squads.
as those are separate content that you can buy and adds somethings. mainly locked behind a pay wall.

No, as the developers said it:

“Enlisted campaigns are separate games combined into a single launcher”

still, " games ". not " dlcs ".

separate games are even more separate than DLCs.
