Close the windows of Halftrack M3A1 and allow its machine gun to rotate 360 degrees

Among the paid halftracks, only the driver of M3A1 will be attacked because its windows are open. Opening the car window on the battlefield is not a smart behavior, quickly close it.
The unique selling point of this half track vehicle is its air defense capability, but this air defense capability is almost non-existent due to the limited shooting angle. Its machine gun design allows it to rotate 360 degrees, let us to do so in the game.

The enemy can’t see you if you can’t see them

I guess the idea with the open window is to allow at least one angle of approach for regular small arms fire, otherwise the Soviet (and I hope future tech-tree US/UK, they should have it for free) would be the only ones with invoulnerable drivers. This is the case for every APC in the game, except maybe the US amphibious one I don’t own that one so I can’t confirm it or not.

Wasn’t it able to do that at one point, or am I misremembering this?

Among paid APCs, other paid APC‘s driver have received perfect protection, but the M3A1 does not.
I don’t think we’ll get it on the tech tree, this open window is really strange.

Of course not.

Wait a Minute… why russia has a halftrack and America doesn’t?!

No, you can shot the others from the back, this is not the case.

Again, other than possibly the LVT.

Uh, okay, but their windows are all closed.

Indeed, otherwise there would be two possible angles of attack, that wouldn’t be fair, this is what I meant.
