Lower prices, there are more people who would buy a squadron for 10 dollars than for 60
regionalize prices
not all your players live in the first world
The game should go on steam, if cuisine is there, why isn’t it enlisted?
in the files there are already assets related to steam
Increases the amount of gold you earn in the battle pass, 200 gold would be nice
That way the game can be much more profitable than it is now.
there is no problem with the number of premium squadrons, but if they are exorbitantly priced, no one will buy them
How many Panzer IV premium have you seen in Berlin?
How many PO 2 have you seen in Stalingrad?
the only premium squads you can see constantly are the cheaper ones, the ones that come in packages like stalingrad and pacific
if you want this game to be more profitable, your marketing strategy is not good
You would have the advantage that the public from all over the world cannot pay 10 dollars because it represents 1 month of rent and food, so you would have more clients
The battle pass is already generous enough. Not many game have battle pass that can be completed easily and give you back the currency that you use to buy the battle pass.
Steam didnt help HnG.
Just cause a game goes to Steam, it doesn’t mean it will automatically help the game. Game popularity seems to do pretty “fine” despite no Steam.
the grind in HnG is way worse than here. Besides: The graphics are medieval, maps are old AF.
Played HnG with 5k h plus but the game, as funny as it is when you have all in the game, is just dying within itself.
Enlisted COULD do better on steam with some really good ads “like the twitch drops”.
Some players refuse to take anything else except games on them steam library.
I find graphics not that problematic except for FOV/ inf scope scam.
Grind is debatable worse in Enlisted because here you cant even decide what to grind, let alone latest copy+paste lazyiness. The Dens AT LEAST offer me to decide what I want. Here, I have to grind squads and stuff I don’t even want in first place.
Game didn’t really die because of those factors. I think Armor 2.0 hotfixs and lack of content for RTS and clans… or any actual innovative changes were more concerning.
Enlisted may be historical accuracy/ premium scam but at least their biggest innovations were more than planes with smoke trails.
Armor 2.0 was a disaster. I did not want to list all factors to be honest but you are absolutely right.
With the graphics I just wanted to figure out the opinion of some people that started it via steam and lost interest as it looks “stupid”. I agree that the graphic is non-essential. I basically still play super mario on the NES/SNES with 120% pure fun.
All I am saying: Enlisted has definetely more potential to win a bigger playerbase than HnG on steam.
i just told you why that won’t happen and why they won’t do it.
if the current game goes on steam, i can guarantee you that the prices would only increase BECAUSE of going under steam.
whether i agree premium squads are pricey ( hence only bought them twice. i mean, one prem squads, and a stalingrad paid access ) those were the only good purchase i saw for my wallet and eyes.
the majority, are simply not worthed ( in my opinion ) the price. and therefore should go down a little bit. but since we have been asking this since the alpha and never actually delivered, instead increased, i doubt that will happen.
which adding it on steam will do nothing but the opposite of what you think. unfortunately.
True though again Im not how much Steam will ask here since Steam WT gold is already more expensive than on Standalone Launcher/ Gajin shop. But then (again), its the fault of those plebs.
Well, it is true, but this price increase is reflected differently in the different countries of the world that do not have euros or dollars.
And on this side of the world, a lot of people only play games if they’re on Steam.
do you remember paladins launcher
its gone, and only its in steam
and other
For being from a third world country when buying in xsolla you suffer purchase surcharges, which does not happen in steam
now its almost a 1 to 1 to currency . its impossible to update the gold to how dolars or euros are doing on markets so its more stable to do a 1 to 10 ratio per sale.
i did, 2 or 3 times and i dont regret it.
you see, high prices arent that high for me , and many like me.
i would love to purchase them 3000 times cheaper ? sure. but honestly i dont care less about the prices right now. as long as i still see updates , the game is enjoyable, the money i spend is mostly to suport what i m enjoying.
i get a tank, a squad or a plane in return… cool. but i rather have a game with more updates and content.
and i still see that.
could be better? ye ofc. but hopefully aint like 90% game devs out there.
somehow, most lost apreciation. and none of the premiums ingame are needed to enjoy the game and have fun with it. none.
one thing they can do with current prices is discounts and still have a high influx of sales and profit.
50 euros, wallet warriors will get them, later they sell them at 30 or 50 % , even more people get them
1 milion dolars might be stupid money for 99% of the population to purchase a car , when one could sell milions more for 10 000…
also, on a side note.
99% of the players you ask about the grind say the game is grind as hell and only have 1 or 2 sides on 1 or 2 campaigns compleated, and still complain about only 1 or 2 levels added.
you and those like you not finding the prices high =/= everyone else
just saying.
that’s kinda the point isn’t it?
more people would like to, but they simply just can’t so…
guess you’ll keep your shiny toys for your self, doesn’t really change that much for me or those like me either.
it’s just a slighly inconvenient if anything.
i’d like for you to define this point as i’m kinda starring it for a while in many of your conversation and fail to see a point in it.
i’m aftaid it’s highly debatable.
whether i find it midly inconvenient, i can see people raging over it. ( similar to mass produced tanks or weapons that go behind paywall ) i’m just having a laugh at it.
but i can kinda see why they are doing so ( players about raging ).
but i’m sorry that most people do not share that vail of yours of being everything great and excusable.
i think that’s one marketing way that kinda works.
but at the same time, i am no marketing expert nor claim to be, but if selling is what matters, i’m fairly sure that you could make almost as the same gain if you would just decrease prices as more people would buy them.
but i could be wrong i guess.
that’s quite weird analogy.
i could see it ( speaking of cars ) that 10 lambos sold are still somewhat better and different than 10 fiats pands ( a truly shit box that “we” ( italians are proud of but kinda cheap ) i guess it would be the most apropriated.
but are you… . seriously evaluating squads worthed in enlisted? opposed to irl stuff?
because to my understanding, people want to invest. but i can’t really blain them for not doing so when half the prices are insane for what they “offer”.
i think one of us is getting it wrong. and i’m not sure any of us will admit it.
which, i understand, and can somewhat get behind, but at the same time.
who putted him self in this situation of having to upgrade 6 campaigns per time?
definitely not us.
( i find the grind element kinda fine and a great example as non premium user because i used the free 14 days as reward for the title i get to use on the forum and somehow made from level 1 to 24 of normandy relatively quickly. didn’t liked that. but again, some of them are kinda overacting, others have deeper truth to it. i generally dislike the idea of premium but i digress ).
on the other hand, can you really blain people for not playing more than one or two campaigns? honestly, i personally try to play them all, but i lack the time to run them all. to a point where i occasionally plays with the one i enjoy. or need to. ( even though, i sit mostly on the editor because of the thing i still want to make. but i’m dummy slow about it )
which, it goes both ways though. which to kinda conclude the previous " argument ", you kinda wait entire months for just a copy and paste or slighty different weapon. which i don’t mind, but for only one level, and having to go through all the hussle, seems a bit weak. and boring.
