Since there are missions for “bolt action” and other specific weapon types, it would be good to clarify which weapons are part of these categories. It should say on their stat screen.
Some weapons aren’t particularly obvious - For example, the lever-action Winchester (which is not technically bolt action), counts as a bolt action… But I had to test it to find out.
the reason why the winchester is called a “bolt action” is because you have to manually cycle the round
bolt action means, all of the weapons that require manual action to cycle the round.
you need even more info besides “use a bolt action rifle”…
any rifle that the firing mode states “manual”
Mosin M91/30 is rifle/manual, while Mosin M91/30 sniper rifle is boltaction rifle/manual. Isn’t the normal version boltaction then?
Both of these count as bolt action rifles in terms of missions.
I still think it would be good to have it clarified. The PTRD is clearly a bolt-action anti-tank rifle, but it didn’t seem to count for the mission when I checked.
if it says semi auto rifle, it dont count…
if it says anti tank rifle, it dont count…
