Very true, also as you’ve mentioned it can be a pain to take the crew out unless you ammo rack it or hit the fuel tanks in the back leaving time for the Churchill tank crew to either abandon the tank or keep switching guys to the turret to fight back.
I can say I’ve bounced maybe a couple of shells off of a Churchill but mostly when they knew how to use it properly and angled well.
Jumbos are a nightmare to deal with early game with panzer IV’s (the premium jumbo at least) due to their thick armor and pretty decent gun compared to how easy a panzer IV is to pin from my experience facing them.
Most Churchill users must not know about correct angling then (granted I can barely angle correctly most of the time) but that could explain some hard pins I’ve had on one Churchill I faced.
Pretty true in Normandy at the moment, especially if you’re still for one minute or get spotted by infantry. I’ve only seen Puma’s outrun a plane every now and then but experienced Puma users are rare on their own.
