Chi-Se heavy tank for Japan BR5

This suggestion includes prototype paper tanks. Please exercise caution if you or a loved one find prototype paper tanks disturbing.

The Chi-Se tank would have been a Chi-Ri medium tank with a modified turret housing the 105mm cannon present on the Ho-Ri. Because the tank is built on the Chi-Ri chassis, the armor would remain unimpressive against enemy threats on BR5. However, it still would possess the very lethal 105mm cannon with an enclosed turret, making the crew more protected against nearby grenades or molotovs

There have been other speculative designs on the Chi-Se which include mounting a turret onto the Ho-Ri chassis, this would more or less give Japan a top tier heavy tank that should be on par with similar tanks such as the Tiger 2

Why should the Chi-Se be included in Enlisted? As it stands, Japan has only two tank options for BR5, the new Chi-Ri and the Ho-Ri. There’s the prototype Ho-Ri but that’s a $40 premium so I’m ignoring that. The Chi-Ri has really depressing armor in the BR5 tier and the Ho-Ri is plagued without a turret, depending on how Darkflow chooses to depict the Chi-Se, it could be an upgunned Chi-Ri which should enable it to more easily punch enemy tanks at its BR, or it could be an alternative to the Ho-Ri with an enclosed turret to protect the crew inside

I think it would be better if they lent Japan German anti-tank weapons instead of continuing to send more tanks that would be useless against the br 5.

Paper tank induced phobia can include symptoms such as tremors, sweating, and difficulty concentrating. If you experience any of these paper tank induced symptoms, consult your local doctor

Not even in warthunder.
No.

Since when is that a requirement? I thought I recall hearing an anecdote of Warthunder using the model of the T34-85 (or some similar tank) created in Enlisted because it was higher quality

Did Warthunder create all of the gun models in Enlisted too? I assume Darkflow possesses developers who are able to model something new

but
No armor = 0 survivability
M18 has proven this

I’ve killed an M26 pershing using the Dicker Max before, glass cannon tanks have the ability to succeed as long as you get the first shot

Honestly I’m quite fine with basically anything paper for Japan becoming reality especially in terms of providing Japan content in the long term. (Of course they should still prioritise produced domestic designs above all).

So honestly I’d really like to see this tank come to the game at some point, in particular the one using the Ho-Ri Chassis but I have a funny feeling that one could end up a premium lol.

I vote foe this and Ho-Ri II

O-I and least existed and was tested, id rather have that
Ho-Ri should be changed to the real version that we all know as Ho-Ri II

the motorcycles aren’t in war thunder, so its not impossible for devs to make there own models

I would want that.

I think the new Chi-ri is way to weak compared to the other best BR5 tanks. Japan may now have a tank destroyer, but still lacks an end game heavy tank like the other factions…
