Noob question here. The event tank, can it only be used by tanker II squad? Haven’t unlocked the squad yet and just wanted to be certain I’m not losing my tank somewhere…
It’s not mentioned anywhere which squad can use it.
The event japanese tank is for the Tanker II Squad.
Hot topic : I would still use the Ka-Chi over it simply for the +2 in crew size and commando purposes.
If one doesn’t have neither the Ka-Chi nor the Ci-Ha ( which I won’t blame for whatsoever, they are both premiums at the end of the day ) then the Ci-Ha Kai should be the best in slot tank campaing filler at the moment.

I haven’t unlocked it either so yeah, we’re just going to have to wait until whenever to actually get our reward

Ka-Chi is literally one of the worst tanks in enlisted, it’s just too big. The other premium tank Chi-ha (without kai and with 57mm cannon is way better).

Ka-Chi is great. It floats (which is just funny) but more importantly is impervious to m13 thanks to it’s… boat parts.
Frontal protection from .50 fire, huge floats to protect the Bazooka and a crew of seven equipped with SMG’s provide additional survivability and the ability to assault when dismounted.
Leaving ka-chi for the purpose of 7 men assaulter squad is something completely different. That’s just very cheap exploit.
The actual tank is very trash, useless cannon, not having even commander hatch (you ate blind af) and maneuverability is just terrible.
Imagine playing tank just for the reason that you can have 2 more smg guys compared to normal assaulter squad. Ability to use rally points and no need of spawn 200m from point doesn’t matter I guess. 2 smgs guys are worth it for you, I get it.

I am surprised that an event award is something many ppl cant even use.
I was expecting a squad to come along with the tank so I would be able to use that.
But sadly no, only a tank for a squad I dont have.

Yeah, that’s why I know its completely useless compared to premium chi-ha. I own both. 
Then I (also an owner) agree that useless gun, (lack of) MG, poor visibility, giant profile and terrible mobility make it useless as a tank.
And that’s exactly why the best possible use you can make out of its squad, is as an extra assaulters team coming with sort of an armored carrier.

Yeah, but that’s still terrible use. It is not good. 7 assaulter spawned kilometers away from point without ability to use or build rally point just isn’t worthy. It’s just waste of squad slot.
You can rather use 2 assaulter squads, which means 2x 5 smgs per squad (4 ass + 1 med), you got engineer and you can use rally points.
Ka-chi squad just isn’t worth it in my opinion. And If you like tank gameplay, go for chi-ha.

Not funny for me, it’s too slow 
with the boat (Ka-Chi) on land I can’t figure out where I can go, I lose too much time 
, might as well use the boats in the map, you can shoot in the water, but for me it’s a waste of time, I’m auctioning it for those interested, it’s also premium

everytime i use it, i feel like a stranded turtle.
Only take it out for a swim.
But yeah, if you’re up against a great team, I would never consider bring that thing out.
But it’s fun to bully newbies in M13:s
