Chi-Ha-Kai Lower his BR

I think this tank is over the top, the 47mm gun is laughable, although it is above the BR 1, it does not perform enough to be a BR 2, so it should be downgraded from BR and thus allow Japan to have some HE for BR 1

Huh? It’s has a “better” cannon than Crusader thanks to the shell than actually has post dmg. Even Chaffee is worse i would gladly take 80mm of pen with APHE instead of crappy AP with 100mm of pen.

Chi ha Kai definitely doesn’t belong to BR1.

and you don´t belong to this game either, but we must suffer you and your constant forum complains about any change

debatable since it shares performances to the 3J though lacks a coaxial because japan invested into shitty submarines

Sorry but gun is too strong for br1, or you would have shown a br1 tank equal or greater, enlisted has too few br’s to fit the tiger 2 only 4 brs away from one with tissue paper armor and mg’s

it’s gun is slightly weaker than the Pz3J which sits at br1, only difference is a .7 second reload

If so, its current stats need to change because, according to the Military Intelligence Division, War Department, Washington, D.C. on July 25th, 1945, that Japanese 47mm gun was punching through 82 mm of armor at normal angle of impact at 500 yards.

The Sermovente? Does that ring a bell for you?
The soviet 45mm is only a bit worse.

The point is 3J is already meta in BR1
Other br1 tanks are Sturt, BT7, japan 37mm

Doesn’t really matter since War Thunder use its own penetration calculator instead of real penetration data.

I think it would be fine in BR 1 for the most part. Especially with how the matchmaking in BR 1 is +1 meanwhile BR2 is +1/-1

The BR shifting is one thing a lot of people don’t consider especially for those somewhat weaker or more vulnerable BR2 vehicles.

In my experience using it, it can perform fine against BR2 and under vehicles but it really does have some struggle against the BR3 ones, unless you happen to catch them side on and nail the ammo rack around the tracks and whatnot.

Though if the Chi-Ha-Kai had HEAT BR2 would be perfect, since the HO-I definitely outclasses the Chi-Ha-Kai in this regard. There’s basically no reason not to use the HO-I instead since it can pen spots on BR3 tanks and up with its own HEAT. Not to mention it’s better against infantry too having more filler in the HE and HEAT shells.

Strongly disagree.

Other Br 1 tanks have a coax to defend against infantry charges, which the 47mm will alone will struggle to do.

It has a crazy rate of fire for a non auto cannon

shoot your HE to infantry, even with direct hit sometimes you will only down someone, shoot in a weak spot a tank and yet still won´t pen properly, man, this tank belong br 1

that’s all tanks rng and skill leveled infantry. shoot in a weak spot a tank and yet still won´t pen properly, man, this tank belong br 1. Again all tanks i have done the same in a t34
