I’m going to bring this up, again. It’s a bit silly that Japan has to pay for low BR tanks that are not, well, garbage. Japanese light tanks are garbage. They could be fixed to at least NOT be garbage, but I don’t see that happening. Since DF isn’t (apparently) going to fix Japan’s light tanks. Give some version of the Chi-Ha and the Chi-He available for research and make the paid version special camo, or something.

Of course; it should go with out saying that fixing Japan’s light tanks AND making their low tier mediums not something you have to spend real world money on should be considered an option.

Japanese tanks suck. They sucked in real life, they suck in the game. It’s just part of playing the Japanese and it’s not something you’re going to get around.

They could theoretically add the Type 61 if it doesn’t have composite armor. Even so, if this game is to be balanced, we have to go past 1945. Or add crazy prototypes.

The chi-ha can handle American tier 1 and 2 tanks without too much trouble, it’s a shame that the most produced Japanese medium tank ends up as premium, there are also prototypes built like the chi-to a perfect tier 4

It certainly won’t out shoot an M3 Lee or Sherman. It has too small a cannon. It is slow and poorly armored.

It might be worth making a proposal to replace the HO-RI tank with a Type 61 tank.

I have no problem with the M3 Lee and the Sherman and rank 3 last time I looked.

Then why do you want a 14 and 17 ton tank that has a small gun? Those tanks don’t even make sense on 1.0. Do you know of any other version?

There is a version of the chi-to with a long 57 mm barrel There is little information on this one . For the chi-ha the cannon is effective against infantry it has a good HE (sorry I do not speak English)

And Chi-ha Kai with 47 mm

I don’t speak English either. 75 mm guns are weak against infantry. This smaller would be useless. HE’s been nerfed, it’s not what it used to be.
