Compared with other MGs, the event Charlton Automatic Rifle has the worst recoil of all BR II MGs (with great clarity) and additional extremly long reload.
So I really would enjoy a little bit better weapon handling (less recoil) and less reload.
I compared the Charlton Automatic Rifle with the following MGs on BR II: MG 13, Breda Mod. 30, Madsen, LMG Typ 79, M1922 Hotchkiss, Bren MK II
I used the top of the sandbag as marker for all the MGs and without recoil control
result of the Charlton Automatic Rifle: over the second zeppelin
result of the MG 13: under the first zeppelin - less then double recoil compared to the Charlton Automatic Rifle
result of the Breda Mod. 30: a little bit over the first zeppelin - nevertheless significantly less recoil then the Charlton Automatic Rifle
result of the Madsen: under the first zeppelin - ≈ 3 times less recoil then the Charlton Automatic Rifle
result of the LMG Typ 97: also under the first zeppelin - more then 3 times less recoil then the Charlton Automatic Rifle (I know only 20 rounds)
result of the M1922 Hotchkiss: a little bit over the first zeppelin - significantly less recoil then the Charlton Automatic Rifle
result of the Bren MK II: a bit over the first zeppelin (but not even the half between the first and 2nd zeppelin) - significantly less recoil then the Charlton Automatic Rifle
comparison of the MGs on BR II:
Summary:
The extremely and significantly higher recoil compared to other machine guns, as well as the significantly longer reload time of 2-2.6 seconds, make this machine difficult to play. Therefore, I would like if you would check the Charlton Automatic Rifle and reduce the recoil and reload time.
