Concept: if you charge,your bots will chsrge with you,if they have speed or similar perks it will help them to reach you

For Japanese especially, I would love this human wave charge in context of NI05 mine.

  1. charge is equipment dependent. you need bayonet/axe/sword. bots that dont have equipment needed for charge, cant charge.
  2. bots already suck with weapons in hand. they will suck with switching weapons even more
  3. pathfinding is terrible and bots will probably end up charging on some stupid route and will still lag behind you.

yeah totally needed. Right now charge just means your bots are basically defectors while their squad leader heroically (and idiotically) charges alone into enemy fire.

so my question is what will they use? let say i have shinto gunto do they switch to that or do they use gun bayonet?

otherwise yea sound fun but im very curious what you want them to do

I think ideally they’d switch to the appropriate weapon and charge in the direction of the player, targeting the nearest enemies.

Realistically, they’s probably stick with whatever weapon they currently have equipped.
