Charge till death

if a soldier gets mortally wounded while charging with bayonet (but not killed), he, instead of going into downed state, continues charging, and only gets to downed state once he stops (the death timer is still running), camera should get splattered with blood as indicator that soldier is in such state

if soldier scores a kill in such state, he may continue to fight, like as if he was tottally fine (can shoot and even charge again), however, the death timer should still run and take 8 seconds to heal, like as if soldier was downed

It would be a cool way to ballance japanese forces… if they didn’t get a ton of prototype etc. SMGs.

Great idea, would make the game feel way more heroic

I’d at least like some sort of momentum mechanic with it.

It’s ridiculous when I get shot with my bayonet 3 inches from someone’s face just for me to completely stop in my tracks.
