Changing parkour system

Hi, my favourite kind of soldiers are snipers, and as you may know it is very important for a sniper to find the right place to hunt, so that the hunt is successful. Parkour and jumping for this is very important, they need to climb on the roofs of houses, or climb somewhere in the ruins, and because of the fact that now the system is either underdeveloped, or just weak, it is difficult and sometimes extremely annoying. There are two main problems right now. The first is that after you get hooked on the edge of the place where you jump, you climb on top and fly forward about a metre, and this is extremely disturbing when you climb on something narrow, for example, a broken wall, or a door. And the second is that it is often impossible to jump from the edge of the ground, because the soldier just, well, does not jump, and flies down all 5 floors and dies, and this sometimes pisses me off even more. So if in future updates this would be finalised, I think snipers, and they include me, will be happy. Although it is worth noticing that such a system as it is now, it is much better than no system, for which many thanks to the developers.
P.S. I noticed in the game that most snipers play quite unprofessional, and rarely get kills, so in the future I may make a small guide that can help beginning, and old, snipers.

How about remove climbing & jumping entirely from snipers just to keep them unhappy as possible.

This isn’t Assassin’s Creed or Sniper Elite, snipers are generally speaking a hindrance to their team and Im sure most will agree that encouraging more sniping in this game would be bad, this is a squad based game after all and most people get their fun by charging in the objective guns blazing.

if you love snipers, then you are playing incorrectly and letting the team down, snipers in the team always play the role of a ballast

I feel this is a cool Idea not even just for sniper having and engineers sneak through a building and build a rally point or an at gunner climbing a building and getting the jump on a tank

All the movement animations need overhauled as well. I’m also pretty surprised that everyone says snipers have no team play. I’ve played as a good sniper squad before, when I play I flank and use artillery, I still end up in top three while I use them. I ping valuable targets or large groups and get good kills and good assists.
Best yet, I take engineer with me and build flank rallies and I’ll take AT gunner and snipe tanks as well.
Yes a sniper squad really sucks at the very beginning, they can’t do a lot of what I just said. But Snipers aren’t entirely useless and the people who think they are a bit silly ngl.

No learn to play objective no one in this game loves snipers we hate them with passion push the point like a chad dont be a rat

I love the abilitiy to climb all over the place. I think its a really cool feature and one of the things about Enlisted that sets it apart from other FPS

Snipers are devastating in the right hands and the right setup. There is just a shortage of the “right hands”

But that can be said for any class

Absolutely true - after playing War Thunder off and on for 10 years and seeing someone suggest adding infantry to War Thunder, I decided to give Enlisted a try - as a many year WWIIOL veteran going all the way back to June of 2001, I brought the skills that keep you alive in WWIIOL to Enlisted. For most of the game, I didn’t even have a scoped rifle - I ran out of ammo, and there really aren’t Engineers to build ammo boxes at BR 1-2, so I spent most of the time with Iron Sights. When I finally ran out of ammo on all my guys, I went into the fray with a knife and got a few more before the squad died.

Then I came back with an M-16 AA truck and used THAT with the same survival tactics (which are definitely NOT ‘going in with guns blazing’) and mowed down a bunch of reinforcements from way off to one side before they could even reach the front line and be a problem for the guys on my team.

People who say snipers weigh down a team have seen people cosplaying as snipers, I think.

Every enemy that makes it to the battlefield needs to spawn in somewhere. The sniper’s job (since 2001) has been to anticipate where that somewhere is and set up a clear (and unexpected) lane of fire along, and crosswise to, that path to the front and bleed their forces even before they reach combat.

If you do that well, you’ll bag a top 3 pretty much every time.
