Changing occupation time is not about balancing

The developers want to adjust the balance by controlling the speed of occupation of the inferior camp. But it’s very unfair and it hurts the balance. This is not a fundamental solution, but a stopgap measure. Moscow German and Tunisian Axis forces are examples. They have a change in the speed of occupation, which makes them occupied without even having time to respond, and the game works in one side’s favor. The fundamental solution is to balance weapons, equipment, and maps. Balancing like now means nothing and ruins the game. If you adjust the balance like this and the winning percentage starts to differ, you’ll adjust the occupation time again, and that’s not over. It’s time for the developers to play the game themselves and find out what the underlying problem is.

It’s not an easy task to make a fair game between 100 players on one side and 1000 players on the other side.

That’s why the Nigerian Bobsleigh National Team has difficulty to perform well on the internationnal scene.

The problem, IMO, is the mode itself. It’s an artifact they inherited from WT and it leads to all sorts of problems that have spawned about 1500 threads on this forum.

This is why I think the Confrontation mode is the best measure of a contest between two teams…although I know that it’s definitely NOT your favorite game mode…and it still suffers if the teams are imbalanced (for whatever value of balance we want to consider).

still dont know why the type99 late costs 2 silver weapon orders, and is a five star weapon.

I still want to tie that old strat into Lego’s recent thread.
Instead of changing it for the entire campaign, occupation time and reinforcements gained should be adjusted dynamically depending on what levels are present on each side.

This kind of “balance” is a abused regularly and I am the one using it too by playing the underdog faction with 4-8 coordinated players over discord. You just walk over the caps and take them in no time.
