Change weight mechanic to slow movement speed rather than stamina drain to resolve spam

Um to some degree at least. Flamethrowers especially need to be moving significantly slower (which would be due to the heavy weight of their flamethrower).
As i’ve said, the tradeoff needs to be speed for firepower. Anything moving fast should have significantly less firepower. Meanwhile heavier weapons and equipment loads that are game changers in terms of firepower should not be able to repeatedly reach the front line anywhere near as quickly as they do.

(Especially as there is rarely time to put up structures that can delay them, they are usually on top of the next objective almost immediately upon taking the previous one.)

  • This could greatly encourage players to use transport vehicles more too! Therefore helping develop another part of the game that has since gone to the wayside.

This, but I also think it should still drain stamina faster the more weight you have as well.
The more weight you have on you, the slower you go and the amount of distance you cover before you are out of breath should be smaller. It just makes sense.

Literally only need 1-2 granades, nobody said nothing about spamming them.

I guess if you can’t cook rhem or aim you’ll be forced to spam or cry more on forum.

Only broken thing about flamethrowers are broken hiiting through walls hitboxes

Its because the trolls don’t like when good suggestions are made that could actually fix broken game mechanics that they use all the time. So they report it.

Youre a prime example everything gets ā€˜nerfed’ and removes all enjoyment from a videogame…

Basically you tried firing at a flame trooper, couldnt hit him as he had a knife or a pistol equipped and moved on to possibly some you or your AI/objective.

Youre mad about it and demand its immediate nerf due to your skill issue.

Can we nerf players such as yourself instead?

Not even what the main part of my grief was. What happened is constant flamethrowers not just at the point rapidly, but moving through with the flamethrower out, moving at high speeds due to perks.

If there was an actual weight system in place, not only would they be slower to get on the objective, but also wouldn’t be able to run around inside as quickly.

Not true actually! The heavier weapons and equipment loads would get nerfed, that is true. However, lighter weight weapons and troops with less equipment on them would actually potentially move faster, which is a buff.

It would also encourage more people to make use of engineer ammo crates rather than just packing a large ammo pouch. By reducing their overall weight, they move faster, and to compensate, they use more stationary ammo boxes.

Its a balanced suggestion, its not one sided.
