I am unable to buy g41 just because i haven’t researched guns like vz24, it takes too much time for players.
It is posted many times, but i suggest that you can research things or buy things just by research that on the left, like you have researched vg2 then you can research g41 and buy it, not need to research everything on the tree
I actually kinda like the tree
It’s fun to see mp43 and stg44 to be a complete clown weapon because they take too long to research the smgs before them.
New players can just go rifle line and quickly unlock fg422 and stg44 with scope and start to farm allies.
DF now force you to research all, and it sure means huge amount of early weapons that Berlin Axis player pre merge don’t need. But after all Germans(and Italians) cover 5 of the 6 campaigns pre merge, so it does makes SOME sense.
sure now they is no point in researching any weapon that are high br since you need low br weapon and vehicle that doesnt make that much of a different
does it require all previous research or is it squad related?
apparently it require previous thing like let say i am going for mg15
i would have to research EVERY mg before i can buy that instead of me just going for mg15 and buy it after i finish it (if i havent finish something like zb26 for example)
so essentially it just the same style as campaign but a little bit better
yeah this happened to me too except its a tiger ii that i cant unlock cause i gotta unlock a bunch of useless tier ii and iii tanks
requires all previous researches
That’s true!I’m also confronted with the problem of research which needs too much time and effort to rise to high level. Before the update I was at 12 level borh sides in Berlin, but now it seems more difficult to unlock new weapons. And if I’ve developed something completely,I can’t acquire it just because I hadn’t developed the weapons forehead. So it’s quite unfriedly to the previous players who haven’t unlock everything in a camp.I sincerely hope that DF can conduct a better system and retset the corresponding regulations!
Not all, but almost.
Did you see the lines connecting two different weapons on the tech tree interface? They are either solid lines or dashed lines.
If you want to buy a weapon, make sure there is a route with no dashed lines connecting from lowest tier to this weapon. If there’s a dashed line, research the weapon behind it and it will turn to a solid line.
