Whoever made this map should try leaving this island with a bike
bike and APC goes super slow in water in this game
They will even drown in this river
Why can’t we just put the spawn on the other island, at lesat there’s a pontoon and match the infantry attack direction

I’ve reported the bike’s ridiculously slow speed in the rivers like 2 months ago and apparently it got “accepted”.
I still doubt they’re gonna change it anytime soon tho.

Things like this slip my mind because the map only comes up so often, but yes that spawn is broken.
You cannot drive an APC out of that spawn because it gets stuck in the river making it like a trick spawn, where your APC becomes a waste as it sits in the water nowhere near anywhere of use on the battlefield. I am pretty sure some tanks may also have a hard time making it out of the water there. This map predates the addition of APCs to the game, so the spawn was literally not designed with APCs in mind (also the Berlin campaign never had motorcycles so riders will always get stuck and drown their bike there.)
An easy fix would be to just make the water in that part of the river more shallow like we see on some other maps where the water is only waist high and vehicles can just drive through it.
I do not think the Soviets who get that spawn have any amphibious vehicles so it just really screws over any player that does not already know not to spawn a vehicle there cause the spawn is broken.
I don’t know of any other vehicle spawns on any other maps that are so totally broken as this one.
