It already works like that, it just doesn’t show you individual magazines.

Not really, that only applies if you have 1 or 2 Mag Equivalent of ammo left, its kinda a illusion. It doesn’t work like that if u have 80% Ammo left. Have tested it? Try reloading every 1 shot

It does work like that, actually. Your soldier just reloads the fullest available magazine.
