Wouldn’t mind it personally but if it becomes the case where it doesn’t fight br5 either then yeah we’ll notice a change where we see a lot more players running br4 setups but then br3 would face the same abuse as br4 is not with fighting br5

Nope you said br4 as a separate quee, not br5 as a separate que. Sorry but br 4 as +0 -1 no , only having br4 face br4 or br3 no. It either faces br3 'and br5:0r br4 only.

It’s the only way to make Mkb42/Stg45/hornSTG playable. Ofc first they need to bring rest of them to BR4 where they belong.

Don’t you mean br2 'would be abused as it would have to face br3, I mean if I only have to face br 2 and three thats 
Br2 and 3 have a smaller gap than what there is between br3 and 4 ( though that difference gap is barely noticeable). So 1-2 and 2-3 are fine as is however br4 is in a wired position where it has weapons that are fun to use you wouldn’t want to risk fighting a bunch of br5 heavy tanks, select fire rifles, jets and assault rifles just to use something like an m21/28 Thompson for example.

Literally the only thing you need to do to make 4BR playable is to separate it from 5BR. That is, completely separate 5BR from all other BRs so that 5BR only plays with 5BR.

no, that would be br4 would only fight br 4 3 meaning it can only face equals or be down tiered we need a real br5 between the existing br4 and br5. either br4 fights br 5 and 3 or br4 only.
I think the BRs should be decompressed a bit, I was talking about this on another topic the other day
I think it would be good for game balance and diversity, as right now you usually only see whats meta being played, unless some one is grinding or goofing around.

Maybe if the player base increases we can eventually just separate every BR into its own queue, never having to downtier or uptier.
no BR3 or BR5 if it were going to be stand alone. Even though there is not a ton of difference between BR3 and 4 IMOP, it would be nice as BR4 has some decent weapons that just don’t get used because they are good, but not good if you’re up tiered to BR5. I get up tiered far more then down tiered.
BR4 Tanks are much better than BR3 tanks but infantry weapons are almost the same with not many differences outside of a bit better dispersion or mag size or sometimes dmg (Kiraly, Fedorov MG), with recent downtiers and BP BR3 semi additions they have become undistinguished from BR4.
What difference there are between BAR A2 and Johnson LMG? Not much. How about MG34 and MG42? 42 is even worse. Type 100 late and Type 2 SMG? T100 late wins despite being a BR3 weapon.
