Mp-28 submachine guns are now available in many levels 2 throughout Germany. However, the opposing Russian army receives an incomparable ppd-34/38 (box). They have a much faster rate of fire. Therefore, we request a change from the current mp-28, which only has 20 rounds, to the mp-28(32), which has a magazine of 32 rounds. This will give the mp-28 a new flavor and make it more useful than ever before.

That or add it as another gun, since we already have a handful of different gun variants already. Thompsons, Bars, two MG34s, etc

the mp28 with extended mags or 32 rounds per mag is beta squad exclusive weapon. (same as hyde smg for us, ppk-41 for moscow alies and mp41 for moscow axis.)
and none of early access squad weapons did apear on other campaigns / ingame since then.
so dont get your hopes high.
also, not sure why people keep requesting to swap weapons rather than add another version on the campaign into another existing level if its a sidegrade…

Are there other Squads, etc from past versions of this game that are rare/ not available anymore? Or weapons, vehicles, etc
yes. there are. as far as i remember;
this squad and weapon is removed from shop as of now: (was avaiable on early berlin days)
early backers from the game, could choose a kar98k with trench mag (25 rounds) airfield m1 and a mosin nagant.
every twitch drop content (pistols, vehicle skins and so on) are no longer avaiable to be purchased again (i do own them all but its easy to search for that so i dont have to print every single one of them lol)
and a few more that were delivered after that post.
