Change "Cancel Order" Function to "Cease Action"

You executed a good flank and cleared the OBJ. Now you just need to take cover on it and capture. So, you order your squad to take a position behind cover on the OBJ. Only they never make it there. They stopped in the open to engage enemies and no matter how much you spammed “Cancel Orders” and “Move Here”, they just stood there trying to shoot into the enemy spawn area from the open and were all slaughtered.

I think we’ve all experienced similar things happening with the AI, where they take an action or actions that we didn’t want them to, but we couldn’t stop them from doing it.

I propose a slight alteration to the existing “Cancel Order” function, so that it can encompass this issue as well.

Instead of just cancelling whatever order you’ve given your squad, the new “Cease Action” command would have the AI stop doing WHATEVER they are currently doing and prioritize returning to the default formation. Cancel any standing orders. Stop engaging enemies. Stop looking for cover. Stop moving in any direction other than that of the player. Return to normal behavior after rejoining the player.

yes please im so tired of watching my bots walk away from where I told them to stay and spamming the command to stay doesn’t stop them till like 5 seconds after they’re in the open getting shot at
