Bomber sights on the heavies would be extremely useful, but I also see that as a balance issue. Currently, making precision strikes is skill based, being able to line target and knowing when to drop, and gets increasingly more difficult the higher you are. Having the ability to precision bomb with a targeting scope could make ground nearly impossible to play without significant rebalance, like giving all engineers the ability to drop and maybe reload AA guns, giving tanks targeting reticules for aircraft, etc.
Yeah, it’d put more emphasis on air units… attackers and fighters (as counters for heavy bombers) both. But with the small size of teams, I dunno. I think it’s better left as a skill-based option and players take the time to train up on the range to get better at it.
