Centurion Tank

From Late 1944 to 1945, 20 early centurion tanks were made. While seeing no service, unlike some vehicles ingame these were actually made, and I think they would be a great addition to the allied tech tree so we have a higher tier vehicle that isn’t a Sherman, and something for fans of Commonwealth stuff.

I support this idea.

If people disagree with this I will laugh given this game’s propensity for nonsense prototype weapons that were barely completed as drawings on like the last day of the war and yet treated as ‘legit’ additions.

Ive previously criticised the point of BR IV and V especially given how much of them rely on prototype or really late war weapons.

Germany is main attraction is tank and USA is bomber

of which the US is sorely lacking, I think the B-25 or B-26 could be a nice end of the line heavy attacker/tactical bomber, BR5 id say.

I agree for the elephant, we could see the tortoise added as well, it would leave the soviets without a superheavy casemate though. Which I mean you could just give an ISU 152 as as stop gap. Since I think the IS-3 should be avoided in game, as that would truely break the balance in game.

Well maybe a Jagdtiger could last, but that’s still a bad idea in my opinion because as it is atm, its worth thinking that an elephant/tortoise/IS-3 could face BR3 which is just gruesome to think about.

But what I meant to say is, lets hold off on adding all that until we tidy up the tech trees and folder away about 50% of it

It did not participate in WW2, just like the MAUS and the IS-3. It should not arrive, and what happened in Japan is because it does not have weapons for Tier IV and V.

Well yes…but i thought we were talking commonwealth

Oh yeah I agree with that, I think it’s reasonable that Tigers and Panthers dominate the battlefield, but at the same time I think allies should have vehicles that aren’t just Sherman variations or shitty TDs.

I mostly care about variety, and while any of the tanks @Myrm1don mentioned would be a nice addition I mostly like the idea of a Centurion because it would stand out a lot - it’s badass, would be nice for BR IV or V, and a tank with a coaxial 20mm would be awesome.

Also Tetrarch, archer, aec armored car, f2p firefly, light aa mk 1, m22 locust and crusader aa
