in past games could have been separately released in different countries with their own versions of censorship. just look at this:
now most countries have normal laws that allow depiction of nazi imagery in art (games amongst them) and history under provision that it doesnt glorify them. even germany that was most famous for banning nazi imagery in games allows it since few years ago.
biggest problem in allowing nazi imagery in games is russia and their recent actions in “denazification”. and considering that gaijin is russian company…
They should make a setting that only show up for some regions of the world depending on local law and the setting will add historic symbolism like insignia
