add a few maps that have castles that we need to defend or siege

The game is set in WWII, not the 13th Century.
That said, some extra battlefields that incorporate some of the more modern fortresses that were indeed obsolete after WWI but still used, such as in Belgium, or the Maginot Line, would be welcome.

I like this idea.
Ive previously suggested Eban Emael fortress in Belgium and the Maginot Line.
Eban Emael would be interesting with the defenders spawning in separate little bunkers with machine guns and artillery and defending those from Germans crossing the river and assaulting said positions. This would be an opportunity for a premium Fallsmirjager squad.
Likewise Maginot Line with retractable guns (Eban Emael had these too) and it would be fun with the electric trains.
Castle Itter would also be a fascinating battle to include. I’m not sure how that would work though. The French prisoners (freed) could be Gold Order soldiers or event unlocks or something. Americans would be standard Americans and the SS would be standard Germans I guess. However one of the key aspects of this battle was the Austrian resistance and Austrian standard Heer (not SS) troops that fought alongside Americans.
Maybe a premium squad? But then it would be very OP having guys in German uniforms with German weapons fighting the Axis (confusing for Allied players too).
There was also a battle in Luxembourg I forget the name of but it involved an old castle and I think it was only 14 defenders (the whole Luxembourg army was only 400 something soldiers).
There is also Brest fortress for Soviets.
I encourage you to research battles in WWII that involved castles/forts. The only other option is a made up map of generic France or Central Europe or whatever. There’s a couple maps in War Thunder like that.

yet we have D-Day in where you are in a bunker if you are lucky
didnt stop the germans or the americans
also btw there are a few battles in ww2 that took place in castles

there were some battles fought inside and outside of castles the 3 that I can think of are Battle of Vianden castle and Battle of Castle Itter and Siege of Turjak castle though none of them would work since layout of the maps will block tank and most likely plane use and other than that the battles were fought between strange factions example Castle Itter fought between American and Wehrmacht against SS
