Can't use ammo box since last update

Am on xbox, can’t grab ammo from ammo box, can only destroy it since last major update.
I didn’t change controls.
I didn’t try to crab from enemy ammo box.
Suggested button prompt stays the same (X for ammo, hold X for destroy)

Seriously, so many issues with the double mapping and their not working priority system. Just give us MnK like War Thunder. I have a chatpad under my gamepad i use there for extra buttons but its useless in Enlisted.

You can fix this issue if you change the “Interaction with buildings” keybind in the Controls or if you reset all your keybinds to default.

Thanks will try that!

It doesn’t work. I’ll upload a videoclip, a bit later today.

Here’s a video example that shows the issue with the ammo box, and also showing the controller settings for “interaction with building”.

Can you please pass this along, to whoever’s working on it?

Did you try using a completely different button like B?

No, because that would entirely mess with my muscle memory. I’ve played over 3,500 matches in Enlisted, with (X) always having the same functions.
Can you imagine how annoying it’ll be to change around the buttons/commands, just because there’s a bug within the Big Update?

It’s the same reason why I’m reluctant to reset everything to Default Settings. I’m not interested in wasting 30 minutes reconfiguring my controller/custom-mapping for all the different categories (soldier, squad, vehicle controls, aircraft controls, etc.)

I think it would be better if the bug got fixed, rather than forcing players to reconfigure their entire controller…

Devs are working on it, but right now it’s a workaround so you can keep using them

Yeah man, should be really kept in mind when doing updates by the devs. Just as you’re not allowed to lose progress/save games kinda thing you shouldn’t lose control settings. Especially for games with complex control setups required to be made by the user as Enlisted.

I work for an app development company too, not video games, but users also have elaborate settings to tweak their own experience and it’s a hard no-no that these should get lost/unuseable when updated or even uninstalled.

Again, give us access to the chatpad you can click into the gamepad so we won’t have to remap stuff every time the faulty priority system is tweaked.
Is that something you can pass to the devs? If they don’t know how just let them ask their colleagues over at the War Thunder department. There it works well.
