Can't upgrade my MP717

So, i bought Stalingrad pack a long time ago, got myself a few MP717 (Captured PPSh), and upgraded them but not all of them. Changes into the game took my upgrades to 2 stars with this new 3 stars upgrade/rework.

Long story short, i can’t upgrade my MP717’s to 3 stars 'cause it is asking for a research with a squad that no longer have (sold all my legacy infantry squads), are there a fix for this? There was no warning on this issue, if i would have known i would have kept that legacy squad at least until upgrading this particular SMG’s.

well there were topics on forum so people dont sell their squads…

you can try with support, but they will probably do nothing.

Yeah i have spoked with another player about this situation, i am mostly a plane main in any faction, i use max. two assault squads and event squads, so having a bloated 1000 squads that have no meaning and i will never use, it’s kind of a pain in the arse.

A warning on this would have been helpful, i shouldn’t have sold that squad at least until upgrading those MP’s which i also do not use at all, but changing things on the fly it’s a little bit disrispectful to say the least.

I play for fun, organizing 100 squads it’s not fun, making bug reports and contacting support is not fun.

PS: Are there even someone working on support?

you had get the 10000 coins which you want.
thats your order , If you decide to refuse thinking, then take responsibility and consequences. pls~
If you choose to contact support personnel, it is recommended that you check if you have enough US dollars in your pocket to pay the penalty for breach of contract, 10000 coins, and the expected interest corresponding to 10000 coins.
But most likely, they will only tell you that every change in game content cannot make everyone happy.
this is it.
*Just like they erased my 100000 silver coin bayonet, scope, and launcher through updates.

oh dam i dont think you can unless they give you back the squad (i didnt sold mine since i want to keep them for collection)

I was one of the stupid ones that sold off my old legacy squads not thinking I would need or want them in the future. I did pocket quite a haul in silver between them and selling off old weapons, but if I could go back I would have NEVER sold them off.

Did people change it because of Silver coins?

I’m gonna be honest, i am a 38yo hotel manager that lives in the caribbean and play games for fun, last game i found interesting to play was this one because i loved it the first person flight.

I’ve never cared about squads, i use mostly the same roster 2 assault and 2 event squads with my bought slots for planes, and having a 100 of squads sitting there doing nothing, meant absolutely nothing to me, sorry for the redundance. I kept all my legacy squads for flying divisions and kept two iconic US squads because of Band of Brothers.

I don’t want them back, i wanted to upgrade this MP’s because i don’t want to have them separated on two, ultimately i don’t even use that weapon at all.

I do understand that people wants to “collect” squads and keep them because of “reasons”, but we are not the same, i don’t really see much of an advantage on having 5 setups for BR, as i say i use the same 4 squads and i change they clothing with appareance order which i have like 2thousand to spare, and i have even finished Japan after merge with not a single legacy squad, so not that important, or “priceless”, at least for me.

But i didn’t realize that i was not able to upgrade those weapons selling these specfic squad and the game gave me no advertising about.

PS: I am not shaming people for their interest and feel sorry for the ones that sold things and got some remorse of it.

THE END!

it is way to have quick and easy way to change BR setup. you can change from BR5 to BR2 to BR3 with just one button. otherwise you need to change weapon for every soldier in every squad manually.

I do that, it takes between 3 to 5 minutes.

well with extra squads it takes 1 second after you have completed your initial setup for every BR.

Ok! I do prefer to change it manually. I wanted to be fair, but it’s actually a few clicks.

This is not the problem, i have made an statement about it, clothing, “uniqueness” BR setups, means nothing to me.

I don’t know how many squads and weapons in total I disbanded, but I ended up with half a million silver coins and I used that to max out my US squads since that was all I wanted to play at that time. So, along with disbanding, I sold off ALL my German, Russian and Japanese kit…>EVERYTHING  so when I wanted to go back and play Germans, I had to start totally from scratch. I did not need all the squads, and even today don’t need all the squads. I basically have one level 1 allied unit, one level 2 unit, but I do have one additional level 2 semi auto winchester rifler squad I really don’t use. I have 2 complete level 3 units and about 14 level 5 squads that I can mix and match according to the Enlisted daily goals. The same with the Germans and Russians, although I can only field one decent level 1 Russian unit, but for level 2 and 3 for Russians I only field the one same unit, and have multiple squads for level 5, as with Germans. I think I can actually play 12 or 13 different level 5 squads. So, I basically just play with the same 4 or 5 squads at the various levels, but have the capacity to interchange at level 5, which I really don’t. When I say unit, I am meaning my complete 5 team squads that I would take to battle.

I guess the point is I have far more squads then I really need.

I get it, i usually play with the same guys in every BR, i have even sold all my spare XP points because that’s the fun of the game, play it.

Why would i want spare XP if i can make a 100,000 XP points in a few matches?

I am even playing full BR1 because a few friends from my country have recently started to play, so i stay away from the sweaty fest that is BR5. And if i want to play BR5 i use a MP43 or STG or even MKb.

But i don’t know, i have pay real money for that Stalingrad pack and not being able to upgrade those weapons is pretty lame.

They will tell you to go to the forum.

I get it but…

That’s entirely your choice here:

  • you paid the Stalingrad pack, for the right to obtain 10k silver per Stalingrad squads, which you can also make in a few matches.

You pawned your gold jewelry for pennies. I’m sorry but… many of us warned about doing this. You just discovered another reason why it’s a terrible idea.

Shouldn’t but it is, whatever, i don’t even use the mp717, so…

At least someone in the future is gonna be able to see why is it a terrible choice to get rid of a bloated squads section without fully upgrading some weapons.

On the other hand, i have been kind of clear that is not a “silver coins” matter, i find quite funny having to repeat myself constantly, but i had more mp’s upgraded and only got two of my 30 fully upgraded, and not being able to upgrade them by myself because i got rid of an extra 10 assault squads which i would never use, was kind of a spit in the face to the user on their side.

Another thing i find kind of funny it’s that this is just 1 weapon research of 1 squads, which can it be solved in seconds by them, “gold jewelry” for some, is just “cheap plating” for other.

Yeah… I admit it really does suck.

It’s like having them, but not 100% having them.

Honestly they should just bring those back in regular TT. No reason at all to remove weapons in the first place.
