Can't extinguish fires on tanks after update (PS5)

Can anyone who has had difficulties extinguishing fires on their tanks please state tank, map, location.

Churchill Tank, Normandy, Tried both sides, changed to a different crew member still didn’t put out fire.

Think affecting PC users too?

something happened with extinguishing fires, havent checked myself so far, but in general you cant do it from the inside as well anymore right?

churchill is very likely bugged by what you are saying…

I also have this problem on PC. It was yesterday. On one of the Belgian maps (that non-urban map), my super piercing tank caught fire. I quickly got out to repair it, but no matter what I did, I couldn’t put out the fire. I lost my tank for nothing.

I never even knew you could fix them from the inside, I always do it from the outside, but even that was buggy.

The ability to extinguish fire from the inside was a bug.
The bug was fixed.
Now you cant extinguish the fire from anywhere.

The bug report on this issue has been accepted.

Also, somebody (not me) has posted a workaround:

“I found a trick to be able to put out the fire. Once I get out with the wrench in hand, I have to try to re-enter the tank then cancel the action and only then can I put out the fire !”

yep, DF managed to put comical number of bugs into the last update.
We are once again in the same situation as last year with failed steam release that generated a lot of player anger.
Than the players just forgot about it due to the success of the Aprils fools event, which is just around the corner now.

Speaking of Aprils fools, its about time they tease us with it.

I had this to while playing in the pacific were even its been glitching saying no fire extinguisher unlocked which is confusing how its free but saying i have no permission to use it
