I see others doing it, but it doesn’t work for me. I would use them If i could move them.
You need two soldiers using the AT gun, once you did it press 2 and you can move it
You need to switch from the “combat” position (1) to the “march” position (2).
Then you can move the cannon.
If you have an AI squad soldier, he will help you move/push the cannon.
But you can also push it by yourself alone.
Thanks all.
That was driving me crazy.
No - you can use just 1, but you have to change positions.
How does that work? I’ve always just done it myself.
If you have an AI you save the time to swich seats.
Good luck getting the bastard thing pointing in the right direction after you get it moving!
How do you get an AI to take the 2nd seat??
And when you have done it do you switch to the AI, or can you just move the gun somehow?
LOL…I went to the practice area and got it handled!
Actually you become the AI and then move to the seat you want.
They all need to be engineers, I would think.

When your squad members have no orders to stand somewhere else, one of them will automatically join you at the AT as soon as you occupy it.
Tip: he will help you push but also help you reload the AT faster!

When you want to move, just switch seat to the AI. It goes faster than without him.

No, any soldier class will join you.
PRO TIP
Like said before, when you man the AT a squad AI will join you to help reload and move.
The other AI from your squad will then just stand closeby.
They attrackt enemy attention and they can be killed.
So when planning to use your AT for a while, you should give your squad members individual orders.
Order all but one of them individually to stand somewhere else, preferably in a building closeby.
The remaining squad AI without orders will then join you at your AT.
This way you can blast away while the rest of your squad remains safe and hidden.
Tip: dont use your engineer to man the AT.
Use him to build it and then he should be one of the AI ordered to hide somewhere else.
In that way, when you and your AT get wiped out, your engineer is still alive in the building.
(when you need to reload the AT, just switch to engineer and after reload put him back in the hiding)
Yes, I have been finally putting my AI somewhere else as I attack. I got sick of losing my whole squad all the time. The enemy still finds them but when they dont It’s nice to have them in reserve. It’s a little over 3 months and I learn something new every day. I’m experimenting with using Hedgehogs in front of my gun placements. You lose some field of fire but a lot of bullets heading for you hit the hedgehogs.
I will put my machine gunner firing and switch to him if the enemy is coming from another direction.
I watch a lot of ’ Para Division’ and ‘Quatro’. Para Divisions videos are the best. I think he is Sun Tzu of enlisted.
Quatro is funny as hell and I still learn a lot.
