They want you to buy the same camo twice, even though you’ll never use the Tiger II (P) anymore.

The best I can hope for is that they eventually let me buy the “Tiger Brown camouflage” which is available for the Tiger II (P) but not the Tiger II (H)
Honestly this is scummy like why I can’t use the same Soviet guards decal on other vehicles when I can do it in War Thunder.

Switching camouflages works only on the same exact tank model since the beginning. So there’s nothing to fix

And that’s the problem. A new tank is introduced into the game, making previous tanks obsolete and useless. But there are players who spent real money to purchase cosmetic items and camo patterns that are the exact same as what’s available for the new vehicles.
Why would anybody spend real money to purchase the exact same product (twice), when the other product is sitting unused in the inventory? Within the context of this game, do you understand that this type of micro transaction is the most petty type of greed that I can think of. It’s a digital product made up of pixels on a TV screen/Computer monitor… and DF wants to charge people multiple times for the same product

In Normandy I purchased four aircraft decals for Axis campaign, and I can place these decals on whichever aircraft I want. It’s just a matter of unequipping them from one aircraft, and then placing them on the one I want to use.
My argument is that we should be able to re-equip vehicles with purchased camouflage patterns that are the exact same patterns as the other vehicles within any given campaign.

There’s a reason why I prefer to use gold order vehicles for tanks I mainly use besides the free upgrades as they also include free decals only for that vehicle for who knows how many layers of decals used when trying to replicate it on another vehicle.
IS-2 obr 1944 is just annoying to put decals on with all the grills on it.

Those are diffrent tanks… just like two T34 or the many versions of panzer 4 and 3 so why should they be diffrent?
I have done the same. Purchased camos on a vehicle that I never use anymore.
But:
1: when I bought the camo, I knew it was fixed to that specific vehicle.
2: I figured they were gonna add Tiger II (H) at some point and that my (P) would become obsolete.
So, imo I don’t think I’m in the position to whine.
But I wish of course, as anyone, we could use one purchased camo on different vehicles.
I have no idea why some people would buy camos when some gold order vehicles already have its own camo for free besides the decals but yeah we should’ve been allowed to use the same camo and paintjob for other vehicles on the faction too instead of treating like some car sticker where can only be used on one vehicle.

cuz we’re stupid?
All of us can do stupid decisions at times like I spent some gold on the campaign level to unlock IS-2 obr 1944. Its just more egregious to buy a decal that’s available for free on War Thunder besides even worse than buying a whole set of uniforms for an entire squad.
Yes and I still find it annoying the IS-2 has yet to get a single gold order variant but instead they gave a gold order treatment to the IS-1 while SU-85M already had like 2 gold order versions. Even the T-34 obr 1941 didn’t get a gold order version in Moscow and ended up being one of my tanks that are just plain alongside the Ho-I.

Yeah I also feel like I have wasted my money on that one, if at least you could bring both vehicles into the fight, but of course they had to belong to the same tank squad.
Its a shame.
