I currently have 2 gold order for vehicles right now. Will I have a choice to buy Chi-Nu and Chi-Ha Short Gun? Or would it be better if I spend on the current version of the game? If so, what vehicles should I pick?

Nobody knows. It’s not a sure thing that all vehicles will get the GO version eventually.
How many tank Japan has? Definitely more than 6 already. How many of them got GO version?
If I am not mistaken, only Ha-Go. At least until upcoming BP.
If you don’t own Stalingrad’s full access bundle, I would buy T-34 STZ in Stalingrad campaign. This tank will be unobtainable after new meta update.
But that’s only if you’re interested in Soviet faction as well.
