Line of bushes exist only in normandy, rare in Moscow.
So it very rare thing.
You canât do that in Enlisted though. Even if you had unlimited bushes if you covered the front of your tank like the STRV in War Thunder you would be completely blind in Enlisted
Fortunately. But still, itâs possible to camouflage most of the tanks quite well without covering the gunner or commander optics.
Not really
The Stug is my best example of a vehicle being covered thatâs not covering the optics. The Stug being a very low profile vehicle is one of the easiest cases to cover and yet still only about half of the tanks front can be covered
My Tiger doesnât even come close to conceal the roofs
Most vehicles canât be reasonably covered with obstructing your vision. I also only am referring to the later vehicles I think we can realistically assume that most people are referring to the starter low level vehicles in most campaigns.
But thatâs with just 2 bushes. If there were 6 like in WT, then it would be pretty easy. Iâll show you my attempts (in WT) in a minute.
But thatâs War Thunder
The whole point of this discussion is to up the limit of bush camouflage from 2 to 4 because 2 is not enough
But the bushes and vehicle models in Enlisted are from War Thunder. And the post is about the possibility of having more bushes.
Even if they make the limit the same as War Thunder the way that camouflage is used in Enlisted is different because unlike in WT in Enlisted bushes interfere with your vision
Pretty sure, Normandy high ground, Stalingrad City or Berlin will drastically improve their stealth.
This is so situational, I wouldnt be concerned for that for a minute.
Let alone that you can blind yourself.
Yes the models are the same but itâs the application that is different. Like that photo of the STRV you put up. You cannot do that in Enlisted no matter how many bushes you have
Not all maps have the right bushes for that.
Just imagine how usefull this will be in D-Day, most Berlin maps, Stalingrad and Tunisia. If people want to pay 10 shekels per tank for some bushes to ghillie in three Normandy maps, then fine.
Noboday asks DF to note them nor do we need to.
I find it pretty weird to say that A automically leads to AB.
Yes, but if you try hard enough, you can cover most of the vehicles very well without covering the gunnerâs optics, like that Kanonenjagdpanzer 4-5 (tested in simulation battles btw and it works):
Youâre not understanding my point yes that works in War Thunder, bushes do not interfere with optics in that game. In a previous version from a long time ago they did.
That was changed and now they no longer block those optics which is why you having rolling bushes rolling around the battlefield
In Enlisted that cannot be done the bush completely block vision
Letâs look at my SturmgeschĂźtz III G once again
This is how I normally run my right now in Enlisted. I have some camo but can still use all 3 of my optics without obstruction.
This is what happens if I try to cover the visible parts of my vehicle with bushes
So pretend that Iâm not limited to 2 bushes right now and I can cover my vehicle exactly like players do in War Thunder.
Thatâs what I would see on the battlefield
Completely useless and blind
Now yes an argument could be made to say that if they up the limit to 4 then I could use smaller bushes to try and cover around my optics and not blind myself however that cannot be effectively done with even 4 bushes.
But I showed you on my last example that it is possible to cover a tank without covering the gunnerâs optics. I shouldâve clarified I guess - optyka strzelca means gunnerâs optics in Polish. And as Iâve said, Iâve played a couple of simulator battles in that KanJPz 4-5 and it works. It looks like this (you can see the muzzle brake on the left, which means that yoy see through the gunnerâs sight like in Enlisted):
Again this is WT. Most of the time its utterly useless.
No I understand what it means but youâre clearly not getting what Iâm saying I really donât know how to rephrase it out for you differently though.
Enlisted and War Thunder are 2 different games. Plant camouflage behaves different in those 2 games thatâs what I was displaying with my SturmgeschĂźtz III. In War Thunder players can jump into a Realistic battle with that same plant camouflage that I had on Enlisted and it wonât effect them.
You cannot the apply the same that level of camouflage to your vehicles in Enlisted without obstructing some of your available views. Remember in Enlisted a good tanker will utilize all available vision pieces to perform best. Thatâs what I was trying to demonstrate with my SturmgeschĂźtz. Plant camouflage can be just as much an advantage as a disadvantage depending on how itâs applied.
What works or doesnât work in War Thunder is moot
