no wonder engineer event was good, now i see many players with that squad flankinng and making rallies mostly in soviet faction, but in allies and japanese faction there is lack of engineer(btw in most matches ,i make rally only even marshal rank players dont make). may be engineer event will motivate people to make rallies and other stuffs

Yeah. But first of all we need to get actual assault rifles for them. Currently the T20 Rifle and the Type Hei Automatic Rifle are available as the best weapons for the US and Japan respectively. You can technically set up your pseudo assault engineer squad with these weapons as well. But in-game they are listed in the category of select fire rifles. There are numerous suggestions in this regard posted by community members. For USA they can go with the Hyde M1944 Carbine, Thompson M1923 Automatic Rifle etc. For Japan they can go with the Type 2 SMG chambered in 6.5 mm Arisaka cartridge. Hoping to see them as well. Fingers crossed.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a bunch of engineers holding Thompson 50s against engineers with Tokyo Arsenal
They don’t have assault rifles anyway
Why not let them use machine guns or submachine guns?
Anyway, weapons other than Tokyo Arsenal are not too powerful.
And Tokyo Arsenal will encounter T20 because of the classification system

i would love to see the burton light rifle in enlisted tbh but that thing was never fielded (but it is technically an assault rifle)
Soviets are best nation in the game they are now completely overpowered in every single way pick any weapon or vehicle type with exception of attacker planes and they will be superior. They don’t need anything new except a new plane and i bet it’s coming soon with new Soviet vs Japan maps.
Japan, America and Germany are in dire need of new stuff. JP + America needs their AR for engineers and better launchers, Japan needs new tanks and planes for low-mid and high br.
JP BR2-3 rifles sucks and need a buff to the ammo capacity same with Type99 it’s a BR2 rifle and is inferior to Arisaka Rifle of BR1, Germany needs their high capacity MG and a plane with rockets + bombs.
again burton light rifle fit this category for US AR but sadly it probably gonna be something else

Yeah. I am sure we will see some of these weapons get added in the forthcoming updates. I also posted about adding the SIG KE 7 and we got to see that in-game. Honestly speaking the T20 Rifle and the Type Hei Automatic Rifle should see some competition. These two weapons are making all other weapons in the US and Japanese arsenal feel redundant.
I see no harm in it to be honest. We already have the 9 man rifleman of doom squads wielding maxed out T20s and Type Heis as it is.

The 50 round Thompson is not suitable at all for BR V. Just look at its 100 round counterpart and the stats comparison will put you in shame. That is why we need weapons like the Thompson Automatic Rifle or the Hyde Carbine to add a bit of teeth to the SMG setup for Americans at BR V.
