Can we get some secondary tank battlations for [Soviet] event/gold order tanks?

I would like to be able to equip the Event BT-7A (F-32) tank for my BR I-II Lineup

  • Currently Can Be Used By the 99th Tank Brigade
  • Currently Can Be Used By the 645th Separate Tank Battalion

I would like to be able to equip the Gold Order T-34E “STZ” tank for my BR III Lineup

  • Currently Can Be Used By the 99th Tank Brigade
  • Currently Can Be Used By the 645th Separate Tank Battalion

I would like to be able to equip the Event T34-100 tank for my BR IV-V Lineup

  • Currently Can Be Used By the 99th Tank Brigade

Legacy Tank Squads:

  • 2nd Tank Battalion: Note: Only has the T-28 Tank
  • 257th Tank Battalion
  • 267th Tank Battalion
  • 645th Separate Tank Battalion

As both the STZ T34 is Stalingrad pre-merge GO and the F-32 is a pre-merge event tank. I feel we could make one of them available to a legacy squad. I would like to propose adding the BT-7A (F-32) to the 2nd Tank Battalion. This would keep it as a low BR Tank Squad while opening up to allowing us to use all 3 of these tanks in different presets without needing to change smg’s to meet BR requirements:

  • 2nd Tank Battalion: BT-7A (F-32)
  • 645th Separate Tank Battalion: T-34E “STZ”
  • 99th Tank Brigade: T34-100

NOTE: This would not mean you could have 2 BT-7A’s simultaneously as the BT-7A would be “Active in another squad”.

Maybe it’s not necessary
Their tanks already meet the needs of all stages
I don’t want to see any more forced development crap stuck on the tech tree

Its simply making one tank available to another squad to improve availability. Is it necessary, no … its a QOL change, and none of these are on the tech tree

I just dont get it. For infantry squads we can choose all kinds of weapon but for vehicle the choice are so limited. Why cant we just allow all vehicle squad to use their kind of vehicle? For example tier1 tanker squad drive tiger or tier3 tanker using br2 tank. Its possible for infantry so there is no reason for this limit on vehicle squad

This limitation that you can only take vehicles to certain squads is absolutely stupid.

I really wonder what kind of “intellectual” came up with that…

Its a hang up from the campaign mode, that required specific squad progression. Now that the actual level of the infantry squad is not currently balanced to what weapons they can use you get this bizzare situation, that you can have for Assault IV quality troops at BRI with appropriate weapons, or alternatively Assault I quality troops armed with BR5 gear in the end game…

I think it will all get sorted out at some point, where the quality of the unit I, II, III, IV will ultimately get aligned with the respective BR, and when that happens it will be easier to understand which squad can equip which vehicle.

Also wanted to add that another option would be to add all event tanks to an event squad that would also gain future event tanks as an option. For Russia, this would be the 19th Separate Tank Brigade. This would be on top of the provided tech tree squad to allow for multiple (different) event tanks to be used in the same loadout or in different presets. You could then make it so when you have a new event tank, this squad becomes available for an event token … This token could be redeemed for the squad, and if you already have the squad: a gold order.
