eventually we are all gonna max out everything and i think a rank system is always a fun grind

Yeah, while some players may have healthy competetive spirit, this would only promote elitism. Implementing something like this can be potentialy dangerous.
Not to mention, that I think devs already made clear, that they do not want this game to be an actual competition between players.
Also, isnt there enough to grind anyways. Soldiers, Weapons, Squads and everything for each campaing and site.
I disagree, this would (in my opinion) increased toxicity. For example: “Oh, you are a newbie? Get out of here noob, you cant play.”
Also, if the clans or something similiar would be added, there would be same problem- elitism
I have to agree with the others. Creating an overall rank would only lead to elitism problems just like it happened on many other games.
Clans would be fine tbh, I would like something like the squadrons from war thunder but name em regiment or battalions or something like that
